I have the ROK grinder and there were a couple of tips that was passed down to me that might help you a little. I spray a little water over the beans once they are in the hop, this will help with static. I also had a thin wooden lid machined and this slides and sits on top of the hopper which helps with the "popcorn" effect of the beans, and lastly, i slow my grinding speed down as faster burr's with cause friction thus causes heat which heats ya grind which is a bit of an achilles' heel with electric burr grinders as they go super fast. Hope this helps
Nice Stuart. I have gone lo-fi with the hand placed over the hopper for now. I often considered 3D printing something but alas, life. Nice tips though. Thanks for sharing
Yes. Usually run a hot water shot through. Just to warm the chamber and get a better extraction. However, I often make coffee for another person who is less particular which warms it suitably. Hope that helps.

Thx Marc - I am shopping for the equipment as we speak!
I love the digital weighing scale.

hello, which size (number in the gruinder) do you use for grinding the coffee?
Does the ROK grinder produce Espresso grinds to produce CREMA from a NAKED porta-filter?
it certainly does. I’ve had for nearly two years and good quality beans ground with the Rok Grinder pulled through the machine creates perfect crema.
How to adjusment grind size for the best espresso in rokpresso?
Bit of experimenting. Make sure consistency is between flour and sand. You will get it no problems.
Fresh as possible... not resting the beans? Glad to hear it because that was too many things.
You don't pre-heat?
