This video is strictly for beginners and those that wish to increase a bond with their benevolent ancestral spirits and spirit guides. La Mesa Blanca (the white table on this video is only a sample (not an actual altar (boveda) to get you started. It is best to follow the basic info here, but decorate it how you feel in your heart and spirit to do so.

4. FRESH FLOWERS (NOT FAKE FLOWERS) (earth element)
5. FRESH GREEN PLANT (earth element)
6. INCENSE (air element)

You have to recieve ori to have a house for ori. It's a initiation ritual. You are a living altar to Ori, sit down place your hands your head and direct your prays to Ori. Your not a priest you don't need a Ori altar.

Hello I like the very simple break down you gave for setting up your alter. I note you said that you may have 6 - glasses, what do these glasses represent?
It’s supposed to represent certain spiritual guides in your cuadrant. The biggest glass being for The Creator. You can start with one glass if you are not aware of your guides or maybe two one glass for your mothers ancestors and the other for your fathers ancestors

Why do we put the food on the floor and not the table? I had placed some puerto rican style soup on my alter and im pretty sure it has some salt in it we put salt in everything.

I heard 24 hours cuz the food on the ALTAR ages differently than you leaving a plate out all night for yourself

OK, so salt in food is a no no. what about salt on the altar? Some have recommended it as if wards off bad spirits. what's your take?
As I was led to create my ALTAR I was guided to pour salt in the corners and my front door cuz I set it up in my living room

How can you protect yourself from other sprit coming aside from your ancestors? How would you know that your ancestors came and not other spirit? Will they leave immediately after you have entertained them?

Hi Pretty, there is different Altar for everything, prosperity or money, protection, business etc wat is most imperative if you gonna create a money or prosperity Altar you must make sure u also hv a protection coz wealth kind of brings wrong energy or enemies

Can you honor your ancestors by just speaking to them and not setting up an alter in your home?
Patrice Reese No, you can talk to them, but they need a place to come. Its like their home in a way, its your way of showing love and affection for them. The connection will be made strong and you can afterwards worl with your spirit guides and ancestors. No altar, no real connection, your altar will help you immensely in all of lifes aspects.
Patrice Reese You can, but the purpose of the altar is to provide them with a specific place and energies to feed off of. Without the altar, the spirits you start to invoke may begin to feed off of you for energy.

How can one get to start knowing who their Ancestors are?
1. Have an INVESTIGATIVE MISA done by a professional Espiritista that specializes in working with Ancestral Spirits and Spiritual Cuadrants.
2. Family tree research.3. DNA research (though I do not fully trust this measure).
NOTE: You do not need to know at first who all of your ancestors are to get started. Once you start, you might start having dreams, signs, and encounters as they gradually reveal themselves.
You can start with recently deceased family members that you feel connected with still. This is in addition to what was said above.
