It’s nice seeing all you do with the kids and it must be hard filming around the baby’s schedule. I have two older kids in their 30s and 16 yr old twins. I don’t think I would have managed so well if all four were close in age as your kids are.
I too really enjoy your videos and your sharing your life. I imagine it takes quite some time to think up content and editing it all. I would love to hear about how you decide on what to video and how much work is involved.

I've worked in two Hasidic neighborhoods, and Sukkot was always my favorite time of year. I loved watching the trucks drive by with the sukkahs on the back. When I worked in Manhattan, there were always members of the Chabad out in the street asking if you were Jewish and offering to pray with you if you were (this is how I learned about the lulav & etrog). Since I wasn't, I never could pray with them, and just wished them a blessed day.
You have had such a busy time, a bit of grump is fine I would think! Baby firefly sounds like he is taking more of an interest in his surroundings and chatting away. The sukkah looked terrific.

I had my forth baby a bit ago, and as much as I'm experienced my mother told me right after the labor: now you're gonna have lots of hormones, you'll have days you'll be grumpy and cranky and emotional, it's OK! It really helped me when these days arrived because I expected them. I know the reason so I didn't feel bad about it. I was surprise how helpful it was to hear that even though it's my forth child..

Hello Chana! Another informative and wonderful video. This is my second year of following you at Sukkot. Is this also called the Festival of Booths? I saw that in my Bible reading recently and thought it might be. Also, I zeroed in on that lovely linen tea towel - is that an Australian Blue Wren? I am certain that my Mum has the exact same one in her kitchen drawers, but over the oceans and the hills, in the Snowy Mountains of Australia. You have my deep admiration for the patience and letting go of the mess in the kitchen - I would have drawn a huge breath too. Keep well and keep smiling, Cate.
You have to be exhausted with all the holiday prep and entertaining you have done. I know that you know that Baby Firefly will only be little for a little while.
I also loved my time outs with my girls and that was almost 30 year's ago. By the time they were old enough to be left alone in there room. I was a single Mom so the time outs were very important. They loved that I needed the outs also.
Be kind to yourself,you have had a lot to do , plus you got 4 children now and with little one you most probably have some sleepiness nights ,you deserve some time out for yourself,love to you and your beautiful family ❤️❤️❤️
I like that your religious tradition has you "unplug" from electronics, etc. Instead of being restricting, the rule must be nice to just relax and focus on important things such as sacred time and time with family and friends.
It’s not a tradition. It’s the Jewish law not to use electricity and other things on the sabbath and holidays. It is written in our code of laws and every Orthodox Jew follows this.
It really is a wonderful time. I love that we have it each week, but this time on the holidays just feels like paradise :) So much family time and friend and enjoying the weather and each other. So special :)

Knowing how much you love the outdoors, its totally understandable feeling frustrated & along with over tiredness, hopefully the grumpy feelings didn't last too long !

I saw that in my Bible reading recently and thought it might be. Also, I zeroed in on that lovely linen tea towel - is that an Australian Blue Wren? I am certain that my Mum has the exact same one in her kitchen drawers, but over the oceans and the hills, in the Snowy Mountains of Australia. I also loved my time outs with my girls and that was almost 30 year's ago. By the time they were old enough to be left alone in there room. I was a single Mom so the time outs were very important. They loved that I needed the outs also.
Time outs are important for everyone imo 💜
Be kind to yourself,you have had a lot to do , plus you got 4 children now and with little one you most probably have some sleepiness nights ,you deserve some time out for yourself,love to you and your beautiful family ❤️❤️❤️

I like that your religious tradition has you "unplug" from electronics, etc. Instead of being restricting, the rule must be nice to just relax and focus on important things such as sacred time and time with family and friends.
It’s not a tradition. It’s the Jewish law not to use electricity and other things on the sabbath and holidays. It is written in our code of laws and every Orthodox Jew follows this.
This is so true. I am very supportive of no electronics and more family time and good old fashioned communications !❤❤
It really is a wonderful time. I love that we have it each week, but this time on the holidays just feels like paradise :) So much family time and friend and enjoying the weather and each other. So special :)
