I am a dental student in Portugal, and i love ur videos but… here 8-5 are the short days ahaha yesterday i started at 8am and got out at 19:30h ….classes, test, lab work and clinical pratice with 3 patients from 15-18h and you end up running late and get out of there 1h late… those are the long ones here hahaha but we can do it ahahah

Stephen, I wanted to ask, if your uni’s scrubs are grey but don’t really fit well, and you replaced them with Jaanu scrubs, I’m curious, do any of your classmates point out that your scrubs fit so much better than their standard issue ones! Also, when do you wear the teal or the new pink scrubs if you’re required to wear the class grey! Loving the videos man! Keep it up 😌
Yes!! We have required class scrubs that are gray and I absolutely hated the way they fit and felt! You can see me wearing them in some of my early vlogs. Months ago, I switched to Jaanuu and I have never looked back! Unfortunately, I won't be allowed to wear my other jaanuu scrub colors until I'm working as a dentist in private practice, but I have them in safe keeping until then! Oh, also! Basically half of my class now has their own Jaanuu scrubs! I kind of started a trend in my class without meaning to! They're super popular now!

Hey Stephen, I just wanted to say that your videos are a big inspiration to me. I live in Franklin TN, and I absolutely know without a doubt that this is what I want to do for a living! I am only a freshman (core) and no one believes that I’m gonna do it but I am. I’m working hard to keep that good GPA. Any advice?
Franklin is an awesome place!! That is so good to hear you have this dream! I honestly though about dentistry so much in high school and college but it didn't really become a reality for me until I realized that I needed a future and I was the only person responsible for making that happen. No one would hand me acceptance into dental school. I had to go out and take it for myself. Never give up on dreams or passions. God gives us the dreams and passions for a reason, and it's important we chase them. But don't get too focused on the massive picture of your life. You will get overwhelmed quickly! Instead, take every day one step at a time and make sure that at the end of each day, you can lay down in bed and confidently say, "I got one step closer to my goals today." Best of luck my friend! This process will fly by but in a few years you and I will be in dental conferences together and you'll be like wow where has the time gone!
