Admission is $15.25 for adult and $13.75 for children. Once inside each ride costs between 2 and 4 tickets. Each ticket is $1.

Some of the people in this comment section don't understand a good classic Haunted house. It doesn't have to be absolutley on the edge of your seat horrifying to be good. Not to mention this Haunted house was built completely by hand by Roger Tofty, I love the old fashioned and homemade feel to it.
I just wish I knew him (Roger Tofty) personally because I missed the open season by just a little bit and maybe he would let me sneak in a quick visit to the park because I got confused with the park closing date.
The only time I went to The Enchanted Forest was back in the 70s. The Haunted House was built, but not open yet. Or at least it wasn't open that day.
It's so nice to see them open and thriving after the Catastrophic fires that happened last year. I have so many fond childhood memories at this place.
I do too, I remember the haunted house being really scary but the last time I walked through I was probably about 10 or 11 yrs old. I remember being really scared when I walked through it with my late mom back in 1999/ 2000 or 2001.
It manages to capture the imagination with delightful silliness, while spooking you from time to time. This is what makes a good walk through haunted house. Not just a Halloween attraction. Disney and the imagineers originally envisioned something more to style of attraction for the Haunted Mansion including the original scrapped idea for The Museum of the Weird.
The Toftes got hit pretty hard during the last big wildfires, so it’s nice to see Enchanted Forest is still going in all its goofy wonder.
Those two singing skeletons were way more charming to me than they had any right to be

I went through this hounted house when I was 10 or 11, and it made me cry
I enjoyed this video very much. The house is well done and creepy. I think they missed the one opportunity to supply ONE big jump scare at the end. After seeing all those calm scenes through the windows, one pop up behind the window would unexpectedly scare the crap out of people.
I just wish the theme park could be open in October too for the Halloween season. I feel like this haunted house is perfect for Halloween. I wish the park did not close for the season until November when the weather actually gets worse.
The ceiling guy with the hatchet was a major jump scare for me when I was a kid, never been that scared before!

I remember the episode of Ghost Adventures where they investigated the whole park.Aaron and his sister visited when they were kids and had experiences there.

Wow it really has gotten less terrifying. In a good way. The last time I was in there, as a small child in the 80s, there were both animatronic and real people dressed as ghouls, reaching out and actually grabbing you. My mother had to basically sprint through there with us 3 crying little girls in her arms/holding her hand. I still remember it like it was yesterday.
I think when I went in 1996 as a 8 yr old and in 1999 as a 11 yr old I remember the haunted house being scarier and darker inside I think they toned the haunted house down a little to be less mind numbly terrifying.
Also, I feel like the effect at 6:37 is the most underappreciated one in the whole ride. That was always the coolest little peephole when I went through as a kid.
It used to be way darker. As a kid in Oregon, it’s like a rite of passage to make it through the haunted house at Enchanted Forest
That's true I remember it being a lot darker and had more scary decorations from what I remember last time I went to Enchanted Forest with my mom in 2000 or 2001 or possibly 2002 when I was ages 11-13 yrs old respectively.
Also when I went there for my friends birthday party in 1999 or 2000. And when I went back there with my mom and my in 2000.
That off key singing though 😂

The scariest part

That whispering ghost in the beginning should start an asmr ghost yt channel.
This looks way brighter than when I was there last week. They had turned off most of the lights and I had to feel my way along the walls when first coming in the front.
A lot of this reminds of a Tim Burton movie. (9/2/2021)
Nice overall layout, but it could've used a few "gotcha" scares, like a drop panel or two.
I think what would make it even scarier would be if they had an animatronic follow random people around.
While this is much more on the goofy side, I rather enjoyed watching this walk-through. XD A shame it's all the way in Oregon, but still, very nice!
I also wish the theme park was open more months during the year. It seems like it is easy to miss the opportunity to go to the theme park.
I know. When I first heard about this place (on Ghost Adventures) I was ready to hop in the car to go there...and then they said it was in Oregon and I'm like Oh No! Clear on the other side of the country?
I still want to get out there sometime though and now that I have a young daughter, I have even more incentive to go. I showed her a couple videos of this place and she really wants to go so I guess I'll be planning a trip out there sometime. I don't know the area though so I don't know what other attractions there are in Salem Oregon.
I'm lucky Enchanted Forest is only about 15-20 minutes away from my house.

It's actually true. Some effects in the house are triggered manually. There is someone watching you on the cameras who sets them off with buttons. That's how some of them are really well timed.
And the fact that this place is supposedly haunted.
I always remember this haunted house being darker inside and the having more animatronics that jump out at you when I was little but maybe its just a Mandela effect at work.

While not necessarily scary I think you can see the love and care by the person who hand made this. I think it's just spooky enough for some braver kids.
I see doors but they seem to be sealed, where are the fire exits? I didn't notice signs directing you to the direction of them in the event of fire or emergency.

I went there yesterday with my cousin and scared shitless by the air door thingy that'd blast, then a group of some other girls cam around after a bit of thinking of booking to the emergency exit then we all decided to speed through the whole thing while my cousin was speeding while holding my arm while i sobbed from pure fear and my feet hurting so i didn't see much but i did hear distant animatronic jump scares since we were running they glitched a little.
Remind me never to go there but this video helped me a little bit of wondering if it was actually that scary
Ghost Adventures did an episode on this park. Apparently Arron and his sister used to visit this park growing up.
I love how they fool you to think that your going outside by having light come in through the window in the middle of the house.
nicely atmospheric, but it seems like it should be called "the house where the occupants pretty much stand still"

@@m.richards6947 I agree. That's pretty lame when they do that. I only went to one haunted house with people doing that in it. That's it. Never went to another one. The Disneyland one was awesome though.
I always loved the catch the gnome hologram near the shooting gallery near the old western town and running down the rabbit hole like Alice. I also thought the slides where fun to go down just like I did when I was about 13 or 14 yrs old when I went there the last time I was there.
I do look forward to go to Enchanted Forest again I have not been there since I was about 11 or 12 yrs old in 1999 or 2000/ 2001.

I thought this was a pretty scary haunted house makes me think of if the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland were a walk through haunted house with actors and ghost holograms that scary you as you walk through the mansion that would be even scarier than a ride through Haunted House attraction.

I heard from a guy I used to work with that the haunted house attraction was different and scarier in the 80s to early 90s. He never really elaborated so I dont know if that was true.
It is true. They removed some stuff that was more jump-scare-y, and some extremely loud noises.

I enjoy your videos. But do you only do one take? I know most of these you can go more than once for this for example that an alarm went off could you just do a 2nd take? Just curious. Keep the videos coming!
Sort of "flat" in terms of entertainment value. And they could use some better "voice actors".
No one ever really saves up any real money and creates something truly haunting; it's always cheap and cheesy or the same live actors doing the same dumb jump scares!

It’s bland, yes, but the whole park’s geared towards younger kids, so it’s not unexpected.
