I kinda agree, when looking back on the old days of jamaica, like in the 1930's jamaica looked like a peaceful and happy place. with a butt load of tourists. but i know for a fact that if we never gained independence jamaica would have been 10 times better and more racially diverse.

As a Jamaican, i am most certainly neither colourstruck nor class struck. And many of my fellow Jamaicans arent. But it is true, some of us still are. In every society, there are negative issues, whether it be this, or something else. The good thing is, we are always warm and welcoming to everyone, not just white royalty.
Nobody 'worshipped' this man. He was welcomed and entertained and hosted, just like we do when other world figures visit here, such as the Chinese Vice President, various African Presidents, US celebrities, etc. And as i said in a previous post, harry is an ambassador for the London Olympic Games, and it was only fitting that he come here, as we have the world's fastest man and various other top world class sprinters and champions, although that wasnt the only reason for his visit.
The fact that you do not respect a title that is given to someone does not mean that that person does not have that title, and that the majority of people accept that he has the title.
