Hey Matt I’m kinda lost here I just moved to Tulsa Oklahoma and there are plenty of properties and apartment communities here I have no industry experience I’m 20 with no college education and really want to start a career in leasing/property management and leave the retail environment. I tend to underestimate and doubt my skills but I know I can do it and I genuinely care about my customers! I have applied to a community what do I do next? I’m sure they give you training right? Can you do a video of a mock interview maybe? Or what to do once you’re hired?

Only a State or the Federal Government can issue a license. That said you do not need a license to work at an apartment community as a Leasing Agent or Property Manager.
