  • How To Fix A Shaking Steering Wheel When Braking - Why does my steering wheel shake when braking?
This is an easy fix and a fix just about anyone can do in their garage on a Saturday afternoon with basic hand tools. You'll need new brake pads, and a shop that can cut, turn or resurface brake rotors for you. The cost to have your old rotors resurfaced is about $25 each, whereas a NEW brake rotor can be $100.00! SAVE SOME MONEY!!

@@ArrowheadGarage my thoughts exactly, plus the money saved on brake pads will buy you 1.654 gallons of gas.

Normally I put the spreader between the two pad's then release the breeder slightly, then push the cylinder apart allowing the fluid out, rather than push it back through the system, great tutorial, great job, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones

Maybe a bit, after doing the brakes I did do a tire rotation and balance on the tires.

Very good basic DIY - but make sure you look at the specifics of your car. Many do not use standard bolts or hex fasteners for instance. You do NOT want to be using a standard socket on an e-torx bolt - for instance.

Very True, make sure they are standard nuts/bolt heads... otherwise get the correct fastener for sure!! Great TIP!!!

    Front brake problem bro? Really?
Normally this is due to a rotor problem.

Yep Bro, you need to replace or resurface the rotors to solve the problem as I did.
