- Hey hey! Welcome to or back to the channel. In the video I will be sharing my opinions on the new SDJ #59 fragrance mist and body butter. I purchased mine from Kohls but it is also available on Sephora’s website and SDJ website. If you want it same day I would shop at Kohls for now.

I love it and refer to the body butter as a body frosting. I was disappointed by some in the Bbw everyday luxuries collection
I didn’t purchase all 10 but majority of the ones I did I enjoy.

I have both Cheri 59 and first off no Spiders period!! I’ve had it for 2 weeks. I love it!! It’s such a beautiful fragrance, it projects, I love this because it’s a sweet vanilla because of that light sugared violet, which not a floral, the sandalwood is sheer.. it’s sooooo gooood!! I picked up 2 small mists & a big one. One small butter & the big one. I’m def stocking up! It’s delicious 🤤 I’m here for it bay bee!! 😂
Yesss I honestly feel like it’s a perfect year round fragrances. It’s not too warm or too sweet it’s the perfect medium. I think that’s why it climbed up my favorite list so fast. I definitely want to purchase the big bottle and the full size body butter. It’s so addicting so I def understand the need to stock up 🤣. It’s back up bottle worthy
@@facesbybrittany Exactly, it’s the perfect medium! Right In the middle, it’s sweet without being too sweet, it’s not artificial. I’m with you on wearing it anytime. Idk but I’m sure it will pair well with other perfumes. I honestly just like this exactly how it is. The scent is so feminine and I think it was so beautifully done. I love fragrance, I have tons of vanilla’s.. super sweet, warm, deep, and everything in between 😂 I love scent it’s always been uplifting to me. I wear scent based on my mood, so I’m happy to have this one.. definitely back up worthy, I believe it’s LE 😂 but I feel it’s also how it mixes with your own chemistry 🧪 and it’s a love! I love Billie Eilish the vanilla and so many think it’s weird but it’s different and I love it, also on my skin it’s a sweet vanilla on the dry down. But Yass definitely grab the big boys 👍🏼😂😂
I will for sure especially now that I am really using it and love it. I use it with philosophy “falling in love” and 😱😱 it’s soo good. It makes you wanna hug yourself and everyone else so they can smell you 🤣. I also chose my fragrance of the day based upon my mood.
@@facesbybrittany I absolutely love Philosophy fragrance, my mom got me into them years ago. I first tried Amazing Grace. Then one that was so pretty my mom gifted for Mother’s Day, I can’t remember the name 😭 I love Fresh cream but only had it in a cream, lol along with a coconut 🥥 and other scents in hand creams. Great formula! Oh yea I bet your combo is chefs kiss! Lol 😂 right! Girl I be sitting here in a cloud of perfume 🤣💕🫶🏼
Thank you so much for your review and the resisting the temptation to blind buy. Unfortunately, I blind bought the cheirosa 59 set but prior to the blind buy I liked the notes of the fragrance. I know everyone skin is different but to me the spray and butter smells similar initially but then different as both products warms into my skin. The butter is sweet and stays sweet on me. The spray initially starts off sweet and then turns into this lovely powdery scent (which I love). I was thinking what kind of perfume can layer with these products. Some options I think plays well one my skin are gucci guilty (powdery), coach poppy(floral and fresh), Beyoncé heat wild orchid (doesn’t last or has a strong projection but smells light and nice and affordable). Other scents that I personally have not tried but was recommended by outside sources are: Victoria secret very sexy orchid, flower bomb, Burberry her exlir, Tom Ford Velvet Orchid Lumière. I definitely wonder how this will wear come summer months. Thanks for your review again. Sorry the comment was so long ❤
Oooo i haven’t thought about mixing it with Gucci Guilty. That’s one of my first loves. I def appreciate you commenting because these are great suggestions. I will def be mixing in my room like im a chef. One that i did get to try it philosophy falling in love with #59 and it was gorgeous

I'm an absolute fan of the bum bum scent , how strong it is (it is litterally a perfume itself) and how long it lasts. And so I'm kind of disappointed with other Sol De Janeiro creams, they smell good but sooo much weaker. I hardly smell them😭
I’m going to be honest, I’m just now getting into the bum bum scent. I have the lotion and I’m impressed but i don’t feel like I need the spray only because I have the VS sunset gelato. 59 has officially become my favorite. It’s gives me more sophistication and it’s unique but I do agree that bumbum is stronger

Here’s the thing, I really want a matching body butter for 71. But I’m allergic to nuts and I’m pretty sure the body butter will have some type of nut oil in it and the only reason I can use the spray is because the ingredients don’t have nuts in it themselves. I’m so sad that I can’t use the 62 bum bum cream or firmeza oil that smells just like it. I can use the 62 spray though😂. (Also they said they were releasing the body butter for 71 at the end of 2024)
😱😱 oh no! Hopefully they take that into consideration when making it. I didn’t know they had plans on making 71 a body lotion! I’m excited for that. It’s so good. I’m glad you’re able to use the spray!
They have 71 lotion its labeled as a hand cream but I use it all over the body..it's so good it's thick and strong I mix mine with vaseline

Does the body butter scent last longer than the body mist? 😅 I just can buy one and I'm trying to decide which one has a better performance regarding scent
They’re the same in performance imo but I would say since we are going into the warmer season the body butter would be too thick so I would suggest the mist

Really?? I’m sorry to hear that. It’s pretty fragrant to me. If it doesn’t come off as fragrant it may be a bad batch or I would return it
Wauw...The smell was so dissapointing to me to be honest...i only smell regular bodylotion...even the lady behind the cassier said the same thing.the structure was nice tough😅
Wow really? It’s amazing how our nose can pick up different scents. The body cream is so loud to me and became my favorite so fast. Maybe with their future releases you’ll enjoy them more 💕
Same with me. First time I sniffed it, I was underwhelmed. The scent smells good, but it didn’t blow me away. But I mind might change in the future. I didn’t like 40 first time I tried it either. Then later I kept craving for more each time I passed by Sephora. 62 will be always be my collection and summer favorite.

Hey 💕A lot of people do pick up buttered popcorn and when mixed with certain perfumes it comes off like that. It’s also smell like a warm macadamia nut cookie to me.

I get fed up with fragrances quick and also i don’t always wanna use my expensive perfumes if i go run some errands cuz I’ve been wasting them. I hope this doesn’t smell like the 71 🥴 like too too sweet and cheap smelling cuz i really want some body mist to use daily without just ending all of my expensive perfumes. And i get easily fed up w perfumes that i buy so i hope im not gonna get tired of this. This hasn’t still came in to my country but i did smell the lotion on the store it didin’t havetoo strong smell but it was sweet smelling leaning to vanilla.
I am right there with you. I don’t want to waste my expensive perfumes just to run errands, especially the beast mode ones. I feel that this one doesn’t give off cheap. It doesn’t remind me of 71 and isn’t overly sweet. It’s the perfect medium in my opinion. Hopefully the spray arrives to your country so you can really experience them together.
@@facesbybrittany yay okey cuz I couldn’t stand the smell of 71 i blind bought it a while ago😅🤣 but will probably buy this one. I tend to like more musky smells like tom fords etc but sometimes a sweet smell is good to switch up cuz like i said i get easily bored with scents. I would be curious to try out a floral scent even tho I don’t like them but for summer maybe?☀️🤍 cuz musky smells or even gourmand tend to be too heavy in summer on me.
Agreed. I stay away from gourmands in the summer. It’ll make me sick. Just too sweet. I tend to lean toward more clean and citrusy scents in the summer. Nothing too serious or heavy.
