I remember seeing this in the theatre and when Claire mentioned “sunny days” people cheered. Such a good movie

Doug was disappointed that she turned on him but when she mentioned "sunny day" and talked in code, he was relieved and happy that she truly loved him or at least forgived him

She didn't "turn on him", she had to do what she had to do. They already suspected her of being involved in the first robbery of the bank.

False. They had an understanding and she knew the agent was over her shoulder so she spoke in code and Doug was watching. She missed him. But they couldnt.

You think she’s snitching…..but she ain’t. She goes to the window to make sure he can see them in case he’s watching her and then says “sunny days” as code. No better partner than that….

1:50 Ben's acting here is so on point. When she emphasizes she really wants to see him, he is deeply agitated and sad because he thinks she is out to set him up. Then after that inside joke, his face shows relief and astonishment, followed by true happiness. When he looks up and then gives that slight nod, he also seems impressed with Claire's creative thinking.

The Feds and police just make themselves seen in the windows. That's not how it went down in Heat; Det. Drucker concealed himself behind a curtain and would try to spy down at the street, waiting for car driven by Shiherlis (Val Kilmer). Moreover, despite having way more eyeballs, law enforcement still don't spot Affleck. This was a pretty silly misstep.

I like that the lawyer - the guy trying to keep an innocent person from going to jail - is portrayed as the pipsqueak here. That being said, it was a really stupid move by Claire. If they stayed on her and found that money she gets at the end, that’s the rest of her life (or the part that counts) in prison.
