I would be really interested in seeing a video made of your weekly fridge clean out or food that didn't get eaten/things gone bad. I would be fascinated to see how the heck all this food is eaten in time!
She's pretty much an open-book and it doesn't look like much gets wasted. It seems she can afford to feed her family very well. I love her hauls because they are filled with yummy nutritious food. I don't like other family's hauls where it seems they are feeding their family bare minimum.
Polly Goodwin I don't mind showing it at all! Honestly we don't have too much waste at all. I will usually incorporate something into whatever we are eating that day to make sure it doesn't go bad.
My daughter loved those pouches of mixed carrots. She called it purple carrot when she got bigger and she still likes the multicolored carrots a lot (she's 2 now) and these purple carrot teething cookies too. It's so funny and brought back al those memories when I saw you had the pouches.
Those English cucumbers are so delicious and have a superior taste to regular cucumbers. But, go according to your taste; they're both healthy and delicious types of cukes! Yummy food haul. Have fun!
Hi Melissa! Lol! I was watching your grocery haul like I was attending a class & going to be tested on it. The produce looks so fresh & colourful. Autumn will be making lots of new faces as she tries each new one out :) I made all my own baby food & yogurt for my son (now 35) as I was shocked with contents of jar baby food ... full of fillers, sodium, sugar & preservatives. There really wasn't much to choose from then compared to all the organic options today. Autumn is getting a very healthy start in life! The long English cucumbers do not have to be peeled or deseeded & are not covered in wax. They are grown year round hydroponically here in Alberta Canada & I have enjoyed them for years! Best Wishes! Patty
Try peeling your sweet potatoes, cut them into chunks, then tip onto a baking tray (set oven to 200 c ( 400f.) Make a mix of cardamom, chilli powder, sumac and garlic and rub into the chunks and then roast for about 1.5 hours. It is delicious :)
I like to get my ground beef at super target. They are always having deals on it and we really like they way it tastes. I have found it is the cheapest place in my town to get it. I wish we had HEB in Colorado.
hi mel.. i love to watch your shopping halls.. i wish i could do shopping like that!! here in this country $158 for shopping is way too much money.. so i enjoy your vlogs when it comes to shopping.. haha.. not only the shopping part though.. every part actually..
Yogurt can easily be made at home with 2 ingredients: milk & 1/2 cup of yogurt containing prebiotic using a Dutch oven on the stove top and you can also make it in your crockpot :) You can find instructions on the internet. There are yogurt makers for purchase as well. It is all natural, healthy & more budget friendly. You should try it out for all of you! Patty Alberta Canada
We miss HEB. Ohio has Kroger but it does not compare to HEB. As for your jerky it costs a bit more but you know it is good and fresh if you get it at a butcher shop. I know it would be a drive for you but Poth has a wonderful meat market/butchers. Wiatreks it is on the left side of 181 going south.
Green grapes were just on sale at my local grocery store for .99/lb. Big, huge bags! I can't believe how small your bags were. I literally washed and pulled 1/2 the grapes off the stems and froze them. My hubby loves grapes! P.S. Love your shirt. Where did you get it?
Trader Joe's has the 5 bag of organic sweet potatoes for 2.99! i have the bag rigjt nos actually. lots of organic vegetables there for a reasonable price. check it out!
i go to both, The Quarry and theres one on 1604 near Blanco right off the access road you can see it from the highway. i frequent the Quarry more though.
I don't think she would feed autumn organics if she didn't feel it was a nutritious option. She makes a lot of stuff for autumn from the things she has at home, so while it may not be labeled organic, it's certainly fresh. I did the same thing with my son, before there was an organic label.
coraima rios mainly to make sure her digestive system isn't overwhelmed with pesticides and hormones at too early of an age. We did the same with Maddie and just introduced the food we normally eat at a slower pace.
You may already do this/know this or someone already commented but wash out the baby food jars you guys have used and put your home made baby food in those washed out jars!
Love your grocery hauls!! Thank you for sharing Melissa!! 😊

Cucumbers with fresh lime or lemon and tajin! 😍
Those mini packs of jerky at Costco are AMAZING- i cannot stomach buying jerky at regular retail store price.
I adore grapes so much! I buy so many just for myself! 😂

I love your videos, Melissa.
great haul👍🏻👍🏻
Those cucumbers are really good! I won't buy the regular ones anymore. Hope you enjoy them.
They seem to have a sweeter taste and crunchier texture; and they seem to stay fresher, longer. My family loves them and so do my guinea pigs.
Regular ones are too seedy. I don't buy them either.
the seedless cucumbers taste just like the ones with seeds
I wish I had and HEB near
Me, too. When I lived in Texas, we had one not too far from our home, and it was great! I reflect fondly of those days.
I love your grocery hauls
love your vlogs Melissa 😘
I'm obsessed with grocery halls. No clue why. I have way less interest in my own groceries!
Jamie Collyard lol same here!

I can't believe how empty those bags of grapes were
I thought the same thing ! Grapes in my area are 7.99 a lb
I enjoy your channel!!
What a darling looking baby Autumn is :) Such big eyes!
Idk if your aloud to but I always open up the grape bags and just stick how ever many pounds I want in one bag 😅
Angelica Alonso lol I should've done that
I go through the bags and pull out the mushy bad ones before I pay. Why pay the weight if some are bad. :)

Why do you only feed Autum organic food is it just a personal prefrence???
i was wondering the same! :)
I don't think she would feed autumn organics if she didn't feel it was a nutritious option. She makes a lot of stuff for autumn from the things she has at home, so while it may not be labeled organic, it's certainly fresh. I did the same thing with my son, before there was an organic label.

Baby food is really expensive whrere you are, I'm in england and can buy my son 12 jars of food for £6 or the desert ones are 6 for £4 x
Lauren Jayde that's why we make our own!
You may already do this/know this or someone already commented but wash out the baby food jars you guys have used and put your home made baby food in those washed out jars!
Ruby Collins actually that's a good idea and never thought of that lol I always just use the little Tupperware.
