The glitching on the RH25 is almost certainly a non-uniformity correction (NUC). As the sensor heats up it will induce thermal artifacts, a NUC correct this. Most units will need more frequent NUCs in the first 5 to 10 minutes of operation, and then they can be less frequent. Most military units require this to be done manually by the operator so they don’t glitch the view at the wrong time, and most civilian units do it automatically. Some of the newest military units can do it fast enough to have automatic NUC.

I’ve been playing with a flir breach and a pvs14 on a ravyn bridge for the last 10 months or so. It’s not perfect and it takes a little getting used to but is a great set up when ya get it dialed in and you can easily dial down the background noise to gain more range. The iray would be a good candidate for this also. Great content buddy.

Thank you! I've heard about the fair breach but haven't looked into it too much. I'll have to do some more research on it

200 yards is great. Nice light device for patrolling and you are seeing them before they are seeing you if they had only nvgs. I am also sure that your clarity is even better than what is being shown through your camera. 👍

Most Android phones focus-lock and exposure-lock when you hold on a point on the screen, I dunno about iPhone though

My iPhone does decent for the most part but at 200 yards through a night vision tube I can’t blame it for struggling. Thank you for watching the video!
