You want weird answers? My mind works in a visual map. So my friend asked me once about what o was studying in Ancient History (emperor Claudius) and I ended up trying to explain everything in the weirdest ways. I remember mentioning bits of what I knew about Egypt, and Meso America. I was not asked that question again.
Ha! I love seeing pedantry in the wild. Awkward implies feeling strange and uncomfortable. Weird is just unusual or unexpected. I do love being asked any sort of question. I give great answers that usually get a laugh. What I don't like is being asked a question and then not given a chance to answer it my way...being cut off, then asked another question.
@@brykit1972 - ha, i've been spending time with my ESTP uncle and he constantly asks things like: "Did you see that?" "What do you think about such and such." As an INTP, I zoned out at the peer pressure part because it wasn't relevant to me (because, well, I just don't care for it) and then I started playing with my cat. Then I was like "shit I'm lost. I actually wanted to know what he said. Gotta go back."
Iyh C. Wieners lol same. So, I have to ask again wth they're talking about. They must think I am deaf or had a crush on them that I can't focus to the conversation😂😂😂
Having my own humor that seemingly comes from nowhere and thinking im the most hilarious thing ever, even though i know it doesn't make sense and no one else will laugh at it, but I don't care. Much like you in this video 😂
As an INTP, I'm both excited and scared when I find another of my kind. Excited because we are relatable and I won't feel alienated for once. Scared because I feel exposed and they could predict my actions. I don't represent the entire type, but just stating my personal experience. As an INTP, I feel myself to be much more efficient with INFJ, INTJ and ENTJ
When someone claims to be INTP, I don't really believe them because they seem to outgoing and extroverted to be INTP. Then I remember that I, too, hide behind a mask of fun
hahahah yeah, I too can be extroverted at times as an intp. kinda weird to think about but it's true! and having those moments of extrovertedness can really be so fun haa 🙌🏼
It so happens that people think that I am extroverted. They also think that about my INFJ father. I think that us introverts can often draw up energy from deep inside ourselves for a period of time. An illusion of extrovertedness can be trained
The best example I could come up with of having an INTP moment is when I was sitting in a waiting room and ruminating over the idea of the universe representing one collapsed state of a five-dimensional meta spacetime much in the way same that a two-dimensional image is a collapsed projection of a 3D object. Imagine an existence that transcends time and space such way so that a single instance of it (like a slice of bread from the loaf) is an entire universe with every moment in time accounted for in it's structure. So, basically a universe from start-to-finish in 4 dimensions. And then our names were called and I remembered that I was sitting in a waiting room.
I'm definitely introverted but one thing I do when I'm whith a big group of people (that i know) is to go from one group to the other all the time. At college I was the one that could go with almost all the different groups of people of the class. The problem of that was that when having to do a group project people never though of me to join them. People at colledge always though I was soo extroverted, when I'm not. I just get tired of people easily and I have to change the group every week days or every once in a wile during the day. Does anyone else have a similar experience or am I the only weird one?
I'm not in college yet, but in high school something similar happened to me, I got to know three groups of people and became a lil bit close to them and I would interchange spending time with them depending on my mood, the problem is that I'd be most likely the last option for them to team with :v

life as an intp: - explaining something in my head perfectly in a way i understand then not finding a way to convey it to others because 1. either they don't understand or 2. i cant find the right words to describe it - always have to be very logical about hiding things or making excuses but when it comes to it i'm just too lazy - usually want to be alone all the time and when someone else walks in i feel so uncomfortable and have a mini panic attack - people don't get my 'clever laziness' - staring into space all the time and daydreaming and my friends ask me why i daydream - half of them don't have characteristics of an intp so they don't get my way of overcoming challenges -being called clever and not knowing how to respond because i am somehow offended - constantly correct my friend's mistakes and they complain and whine about it - only have 3 close friends i can trust - do weird things others don't get - get angry so easily if i have to talk to others or others talk to me because of the introverted aspect - seen as extroverted because i hang out with a lot of people when i don't want to - know the answer but get distracted easily by maladaptive daydreaming intps are seen as smart unique and logical we are seen as only 1.9-5% of the population, pretty rare i thought i was just weird before i took the test.
That first one. Oh my God. That was so amazingly specific and I had no idea other people did that... spending hours pretending to explain cool stuff to imaginary people in my head, and then stopping myself so that I'll be able to do it in real life naturally rather than in a rehearsed way if it ever comes up. YES WTF.
I'm a ISFJ raising an INTP son. Yes, I drink often, lol!! The part you say why go outside when there's so many thoughts in my head that need exploring sounds familiar and if you do go outside then you start thinking about random thoughts that take a life of their own. Great video :) Thank you
I walk from room to room talking to myself asking my dogs questions answering those question all day long hoping to that when I eventually see my friends to impress them with all the cool things I've pondered only to sit there listening to them go on and on about some song or something never finding a good time to bring it up just to blurt out something I been pondering for a long time to the sound of crickets. yeah that's me
as an INTP I found this video oddly hilarious...the way he spoke showed how much sometimes there is so much chaos in your head that you cant really find the right words to say. I could totally relate.
We love Sheldon Cooper even though he is typed as an incredibly Gifted ISTJ when in actuality he’s a INTP we OCD or unique condition that endear us to him.
do you have that feeling when your mom tell you to do sth but you wait 'till she's out of the room so you start thinking then singing, dancing then daydreaming..ect .then you hear your mom's footsteps and you'll be try to act like you're doing what's she said
That walking in circles really hit me :D. I used to do this when I had to think strategically and optimally in a low amount of time(especially nights before the exams, because you know, procrastination hits hard on Intps :D). Used to walk on a carpet that I have in my room and while keeping close attention to put my feet on specific locations for symmetries sake and not on some other locations(I have OCD :D) and keeping the conversation with my self in a tone like I'm performing an English opera in front of people rehearsing parts of material of the exam, or listening to Schubert's Concertos and study mathematics and throw German words into the walls while my native language isn't English nor German :P.
When I have ruminated over something to where I've had a "eureka!" moment, I rush to write it down. Maybe even issue a string of tweets, in which I understand why my account may bore some people to death. Awkward questions? My bread and butter honestly. What I hate is being asked stupid questions, the answer to which I think to be obvious. And instead of answering I'd just be like "how come you don't know something that I know". Peer pressure is something I've never been susceptible to. There is no way to make me do something I don't want to do just because "well look at everyone else" - in fact, I'm more likely to do the opposite just as a "fuck you". Staying indoors? Yes, fuck if I ever exit my house. Fun fact, I'm out in the city right now, but all I ended up doing is sitting indoors on a cafe wi-fi and bingewatching MBTI themed videos to try and better understand myself. Inb4 "NEET!" Aaaand the last is the truest thing. I talk to myself all the goddamn time. When I'm alone in my room, preparing to sleep, I'd lie in bed and just think out loud. Or I'd go on twitter and splash a bunch of my musings out there in a long thread, don't care if anyone even reads that, because I mostly use social media as an outlet to talk to myself and not feel like a madman.
The Rust Admin, yeah sure. It's my Dad. He's ESFJ people's nice boy and he wants me to be the same. What the hell! Well, I'm not gonna listen to him though. Oh, and as for job, I'm not going to be controlled by bosses. I rather have my own business plans. :D
Being an INTP-A is very lonely. I have yet to meet someone like me in person. It would either be a fascinating conversation as we relate to our unique state of mind, or a more hostile encounter as we both naturally want to dominate the conversation. The A stands for assertive.
Laughed out loud at the walking in circles bit. I've really got to remind myself - as best I can - to avoid doing that in the weight room. Although one time it did invite laughter from a young lady who asked me what I was thinking about it :)

I mean I’m an intp...does anyone else when leaving to go somewhere or in a strange place think of a situation like your car crashing and you need to survive, or what you’d do if someone punched you or attacked someone there with you...I do it a lot...do you come up with great ideas like me but don’t know what to do with it? I also have issues with sympathy for people I don’t know if they are in situations I’ve been in. I also get upset easily when someone deletes a message before I’m able to read it or changes it or won’t repeat something if I ask politely. I also have this weird think where if I’m talking with my hands and I open a pretend box I always have to close it or I don’t feel quite right. I think I have a hard time learning from tutorials or teachers because I love finding things out by doing them myself, I feel so much better and I learn so fast. I guess leave a comment if you have any similar situations? Or you could say hi
for the peer pressure one, yes! i've always not understood the teachers and adults in my life talking about peer pressure. i'd only ever take place if i felt it'd be fun LOL
Ive talked to myself when Im alone for as long as I can remember, the older I get, the more my inner voice is revealed to be my oldest and dearest friend.
Friggin hell I walk in circles. Guilty as charged. Especially talking on the phone. I do laps of the house, walk in random rooms, sit down stand up... just because I'm talking on the phone.
I believe in a belief that many believe but only some actually believe, many want to believe but don't believe, or simply want to believe something else. :D
I took the personality test twice and it said that I’m an INTP, but I for some reason I don’t believe that I am so I’ve been just researching on INTPs on how they function in society and I honestly don’t find myself relating to all of the things you say (although I do relate to some.) Maybe it’s because I don’t have a full aspect of life? I mean, I am 15 years old meaning that I’m not quite ready for reality just yet. So maybe if I take the test in my mid 20s will my results be more accurate than before?
For god's sake as an INTP i can't think properly like a normal human being. Everytime i get new informations I have teach and explain to the little girl inside my head. That little girl always have something to ask and i have to make logical explanations for her everytime. And everyone around me starts to freak out because i start to whisper talk to myself while walking around looking dead in the eyes and i also hate when people come and try to do small talk with me. It's freaking annoying and all i want is read my harry potter and Avengers crossover wattpad. When i have actual conversation with someone more than 2 hours i get exhausted and start to have a headache. I also hate the fact that my relatives think that i can change my personality type. They just simply want me to be ESTJ. I don't even know myself anymore because of all those years i spent faking. I hate it because it became habit.
I am definitely not an ENTP haha. Don't let my momentary performance fool you. I have been considered also INFP and INFJ through my videos because I would articulate things in their fashion of thinking. I scored as an INTP twice (with several years in between tests), with my I (introversion) scoring at 66%, N at 84%, T at 64%, and P at 70% (my most recent results).
He is obviously an INTP and we share the same thoughts, ENTP ain't that deep in thoughts and they are more open to others while we are introverts so yeah, he is an INTP.

He uses accents and he’s always doing some silly unexpected thing. I guess all of his other girlfriends did not appreciate that side of him, but he always makes me laugh. I’m going to stay with him forever if I can because I will never find another guy who gets me like he does.

I'll fantasize the conversation went a better way too. Usually in the fantasy I say way more witty and insightful things, but I make mental note and save those lines for a conversation in the future.
😂😂😂treat babies like grownups. "Hello there. So, have you read any lifechanging books recently?" Taking social akwardness to another level.
Girl Blogger organ harvesting pandas?!?!?! I need to do some research! 🤣
The treating babies like adults bit hits close to home. I’m 16 and 18 years older than my brothers. I don’t talk to them like children
Friend: plss come to this thing. We need more people to come!
Me: Naaaahhhh... Dont feel like it
Friend: pleassse
Other friend: *overhears* i'll come. Just because i feel sorry for you(she really said it)
*Few hours later*
Me: *remembers convo* OMG IM SUCH AN INSENSITIVE PRICK! WHAT KIND OF FRIEND AM I?
this is irritatingly relatable 😂
Ha!
Beginners!
I think of things that happened of my entire life every day!
*cries*
@@zealotaspieneartheentropy8941 Yeah, and sometimes I can't sleep because I really like just played my entire life (or everything cringy I did in my life)
Then thinking "OMG WHY DIDN'T I JUST DO THIS OR THAT, WHY TF DID I DO THAT AAAAA *Slaps myself quietly*"
I love weird questions! I love giving even weirder answers!
Tony James Gilpin . Pedantic moment... he said awkward not weird. There is a difference.
@@brykit1972 - ha, i've been spending time with my ESTP uncle and he constantly asks things like:
"Did you see that?"
"What do you think about such and such."
"I think such and such, do you think such and such?"
He constantly needs reasurance and acknowledgement because of his Fi critic. He lacks Ne though, and having Ti he feels less need to listen to Ti users. As soon as i start using my Ti Ne he pretty much takes it as a cue to start talking over me lol
I kind of went off on a rant when we got into politics though. It shut him up right and proper.
That sort of thing would get to me. I don't have patience for people that constantly need validation. Like my neighbor I'm forced to see...ugh.
*Me, walking and looking around while lost in thought:* ah shit, I've done it again.
😂😂 happens all the time
A man walks into the bar toilet, chooses a stall, sits on the seat. He sees someone else's feet in the next stall.... ..not minding him and trying to evacuate his bowels, suddenly, the man right next to him says "Hi..". Our protagonist, startled by this totally unexpected awkward salutation responds "hi?"... then the man continues "how are you doing?" our man answers "doing fine, how about you?"... the other man says "what are you up to?" ... our protagonist says "well, I came here to drink a beer after work, and you?"... the other man then says, "sorry honey, I have to hang up. this idiot in the other stall keeps answering my questions. I'll call ya later"
dero XD
OOMMGGG
So real
dero real question is why the man is talking to his wife while in a public toilet at the bar...
Heh.
But why is he is the bathroom on the phone with his partner?
I actually paused to think about how a panda could do that.
As an INTP, I zoned out at the peer pressure part because it wasn't relevant to me (because, well, I just don't care for it) and then I started playing with my cat. Then I was like "shit I'm lost. I actually wanted to know what he said. Gotta go back."
Iyh C. Wieners LMAO same
Iyh C. Wieners lol same. I tried hard to maintain an eye contact(staring awkwardly) with the person who's talking to me hoping I don't space out but later I zoned out thinking other things I have to do after that and didn't hear a word they said. So, I have to ask again wth they're talking about. They must think I am deaf or had a crush on them that I can't focus to the conversation😂😂😂
omg yeah I had to keep going back because I forget to listen
LMAO THIS IS SO ME OH LORD
Had to rewind several times because thoughts.
I can relate to everybody in the comments.... I feel belongingness
I feel normal I'm glad I'm not the only one who walks in circles
Having my own humor that seemingly comes from nowhere and thinking im the most hilarious thing ever, even though i know it doesn't make sense and no one else will laugh at it, but I don't care. Much like you in this video 😂
Somebody: Tell me something random about yourself.
Me: I walk in circles while brushing teeth.
i just learned that im an intp and some of the traits are creepily relatable like walking in circles or being indifferent
Of course I talk with myself. I love talking with myself, I'm fabulous
I had to rewind because for the first 30 seconds I completely blanked out trying to understand how you can simultaneously look 16, 25 and 48.
2:30 i think we need to give this a proper term
"REVOLUTIONARY THINKING"
(get it? cuz revolutions...)
I like it when I am in the mood that you are in, in this video.
The whole video im just thinking how you look 40+ years old and at the same time 16 and Im making all those thoughts Aaaaaaaaa
I'm not in college yet, but in high school something similar happened to me, I got to know three groups of people and became a lil bit close to them and I would interchange spending time with them depending on my mood, the problem is that I'd be most likely the last option for them to team with :v
hahahha omg same, my groups always changed in high school
The description... "I'm not on drugs." That's something I have to say to my friends and family often enough. That's just how I always act!
For.me i can't say the same bc i smokes weed and my family thinks I'm high all the time even when I'm not
@@GamingWizYt same here, but i'm better at being myself while under weed than not, so they can't understand am truly and fully myself on weed more than not
life as an intp:
- explaining something in my head perfectly in a way i understand then not finding a way to convey it to others because 1. either they don't understand or 2. i cant find the right words to describe it
- always have to be very logical about hiding things or making excuses but when it comes to it i'm just too lazy
- usually want to be alone all the time and when someone else walks in i feel so uncomfortable and have a mini panic attack
- people don't get my 'clever laziness'
- staring into space all the time and daydreaming and my friends ask me why i daydream
- half of them don't have characteristics of an intp so they don't get my way of overcoming challenges
-being called clever and not knowing how to respond because i am somehow offended
- constantly correct my friend's mistakes and they complain and whine about it
- only have 3 close friends i can trust
- do weird things others don't get
- get angry so easily if i have to talk to others or others talk to me because of the introverted aspect
- seen as extroverted because i hang out with a lot of people when i don't want to
- know the answer but get distracted easily by maladaptive daydreaming
intps are seen as smart unique and logical
we are seen as only 1.9-5% of the population, pretty rare
i thought i was just weird before i took the test.
Ugh, walking in circles. I pace all the freaking time! Especially while talking on the phone.
I love how these ppl can hv same thought-with me, bcuz I feel like nobody understands me :) in rl
You know you are an INTP when you understand the first point perfectly...
We love Sheldon Cooper even though he is typed as an incredibly Gifted ISTJ when in actuality he’s a INTP we OCD or unique condition that endear us to him.
I started talking to myself while watching this and had to replay the video 'cause I missed the half of it.
I was literally currently pacing in circles when you mentioned walking in circles.
I not walking around by thinking, I just sitting there, the whole day and starring At my wall by thinking.
do you have that feeling when your mom tell you to do sth but you wait 'till she's out of the room so you start thinking then singing, dancing then daydreaming..ect .then you hear your mom's footsteps and you'll be try to act like you're doing what's she said
That walking in circles really hit me :D.
As an INTP, as a teen I never understood why peer pressure never had an effect on me...
Ernesto Eduardo Dobarganes same
When I have ruminated over something to where I've had a "eureka!" moment, I rush to write it down.
Inb4 "NEET!"
Aaaand the last is the truest thing.
I don't do things I don't have to do or which seem illogical and pointless. Anyone else agree?
The Rust Admin, yep I do the same and did the same and that's why I got punished. Damn peoples. Lol
By your parents or your boss, may I ask?
The Rust Admin, yeah sure. It's my Dad. He's ESFJ people's nice boy and he wants me to be the same. What the hell! Well, I'm not gonna listen to him though. Oh, and as for job, I'm not going to be controlled by bosses. I rather have my own business plans. :D
:D
Like shooting a damn naked with a rock?
I started doubting myself when i look at myself like looking at insane people. Thats when i discovered intp.
Being an INTP-A is very lonely. I have yet to meet someone like me in person. It would either be a fascinating conversation as we relate to our unique state of mind, or a more hostile encounter as we both naturally want to dominate the conversation. The A stands for assertive.
q1: yes
q2: yes
q3(not really a question): yes i do stuff because its interesting
q4: yes. all day long.
q5: YES!
LOL THIS VIDEO WAS AMAZING!
definitely the most relatable is the pacing. i can't stand still when my mind is racing
Laughed out loud at the walking in circles bit. I've really got to remind myself - as best I can - to avoid doing that in the weight room. Although one time it did invite laughter from a young lady who asked me what I was thinking about it :)
Tomi Adewole yup. Been there.
bro wtf I was not expecting the circle walk how did you know xD I thought that was just a weird feature of mine
I am an intp girl and when i'm walking outside , i pick up my mobilephone and start talking and i really injoy that
I dont know why ¡>-
this video was the greatest video ever hahahaha , I think every INTP found that funny and so accurate at the same time ! , you sir got a new subscriber :)
Or you could say hi
this guy just went straight into it with no long intro or any of that bull. I love people like this.
I never talk out loud when im alone.
Really? I can't shut up haha
I talk to myself inside my head
Same here, I have rational discussions with myself but inside my head. INTP things?
It may seem so, but then it turns out I am INFP...
But I have a family member who score INTP and they also think inside their head just like me.
You are literally drunk me. It is an absolute pleasure to witness in a sober person.
You are hilarious. I really enjoy your videos. So, thankyou and merry everything.
for the peer pressure one, yes! i've always not understood the teachers and adults in my life talking about peer pressure. i'd only ever take place if i felt it'd be fun LOL
It took him a minute to get to the point... this is horrid for true intp
Ive talked to myself when Im alone for as long as I can remember, the older I get, the more my inner voice is revealed to be my oldest and dearest friend.
Also the ending was funny😂
Friggin hell I walk in circles. Guilty as charged. Especially talking on the phone. I do laps of the house, walk in random rooms, sit down stand up... just because I'm talking on the phone.
What do you think of afterlife? Is there one? Do you have any irrational beliefs on this topic?
I believe in a belief that many believe but only some actually believe, many want to believe but don't believe, or simply want to believe something else. :D
i REALLY want to say that I figured that out...but I didn't
I hope I figure it out before you do 😅
After life will be there heaven and hell
🌚
There will be *
I took the personality test twice and it said that I’m an INTP, but I for some reason I don’t believe that I am so I’ve been just researching on INTPs on how they function in society and I honestly don’t find myself relating to all of the things you say (although I do relate to some.)
Maybe it’s because I don’t have a full aspect of life? I mean, I am 15 years old meaning that I’m not quite ready for reality just yet. So maybe if I take the test in my mid 20s will my results be more accurate than before?
I don't care about your opinion.
LMAO
You know he's an INTP when he just started rambling at the end
Anyone very blunt? 😂🙋
jstin tuck and don’t even mean to be .. Haha.
Mhm, but it has made us the leaders of our social circles. or at least it did for me.
Blunt ? Or direct without unnecessary words or emotional considerations
Yes. If someone makes a joke I pick it apart if it isn't factual
I like to think all day, and go outside. Thinking in the nice weather is fun.
I am 65% introverted, 89% intuitive, 78% thinking, 61% prospecting and 61% assertive. I relate a lot to this :)
1) yes
2) yes
3) yes
4) yes
5) no
I love awkward questions and also making them
Just had to put it out there -- have you considered that you could be an ENTP? (because I'm fairly certain you are one)
One of these videos someone fought I was an ESTP 😅
Social introverts - can do well simulating extroversion when inclined but need a hell of a lot of downtime after that.
ENTP's are very superficial and more narcissistic. I know one who was interesting for a short while but turned out to be boring as hell
"How did a panda bear invent a flotation device ?" - Haha !
So true 😂=_= my math teacher broadcast to a whole class that Im talking to myself in a way that implies that I am crazy or something and I was so furious +_+ Im not good at math but that doesnt mean that he has the right to do that but then afterwards I didnt care he lost my respect. Well- to the next video!
I'm sorry to hear that! I would be pretty frustrated too. Some people are so stuck in their own understanding. I hope you like the next videos!
"Do you... walk in circles?" I wander around my house for 10 minutes everyday just when brushing my teeth, thank you.
I'm more surprised that you brush your teeth for 10 minutes
I love laughing at myself. xD
And thinking is my way of living
I’m an INFJ and I’m dating an INTP. He’s such a geek. I love that. We talk forever and forget the question (where the conversation started). He uses accents and he’s always doing some silly unexpected thing. I guess all of his other girlfriends did not appreciate that side of him, but he always makes me laugh. I’m going to stay with him forever if I can because I will never find another guy who gets me like he does.
Yep. But as INxP I got some more behavioral varity. ^^
Bamboo rafts. That's how the pandas would do it. Use their own hair to tie them together.
man i cant lie the way your pause between your words literally ate me alive the whole video
Even when I'm scrolling twitter,or instagram, I'd spontaneously google up something that doesn't even relate with what I'm scrolling cuz idk. I'm thinking 😂
As an INTP i can agree, i literally have more conversations in my head than irl, I can also relate to the awkward question part and the walking in circles, for example if i’m talking to someone over the phone I have to walk around.
LOL whenever I walk in circles while thinking/talking to myself, my dog thinks there's something SERIOUSLY wrong with me
INTP's reaction when someone walks into their room while they're in a deep train of thought.
Their Face:😐
Their Mind: GET TF OUTTA HERE!!🤬
I think too much, like autopilot. It drains me I don’t have much energy left for doing other things. I watch, while simultaneously reading a book, multiple open tabs and chats on messenger and still think about other things.
