That is actually one of a dream job - being relocated somewhere 'exotic' per say and enjoy a new life in a completely different world. Dubai looks so beautiful, and although it is not my favorite cities in the world, you're showing us almost a selling point to visit, and I bought it. The Burj Khalifa fireworks was amazing, and your life by the pool side is something that a lot of people would be so envious. Keep up the great work, Dannielle, and stay safe!

I've been in Dubai for two days and frankly did not found so much to return for. I felt it really fake, like castle on the sand. Also had feeling that there are several parralel worlds here: one for expats like you and tourists, one for locals and one for labor workers from Asia and India. But maybe I'm wrong.

Just like I remembered it 3 years ago. The colors from the desert are amazing. Cool shots on the water and the pool party life. Speaking of pools, I've been in that infinity pool at 1:05!!! Happy Travels!

Wow... This is a really well made video and a good example of ex pat life in Dubai. Looks like you really made the most out of it. It definitely looks a fun place to visit so we'll have to make sure we do at some stage. We've passed through the airport a few times flying with Emirates but never got round to a stopover. It looks like you could fill 4 or 5 days quite easily there. Thanks for a great video.

Oh you could easily fill five days, I actually have a comprehensive itinerary on my blog that details how to do just that! Thanks, I'm glad you think it's well made as it's one of the first videos I ever filmed. I had a blast in the sandpit, it's worth scheduling a stopover when travel restrictions lift!

@@danniellenoonan6388 We'll be sure to visit Dubai at some stage. Not sure when flights will be resuming as normal though. We stopped over in both Oman and Qatar before and really enjoyed both of them. I can imagine Dubai to be a more up-market and fast paced place than both of them.

"Life became one big party" - that's how my first few months as an expat in Hong Kong felt, and still does some weeks! I've never been to Dubai (beyond the airport) but looks like a fun place. So worth it living in a different country, right?! 🙌

I was not expecting that many people on the beach, that's unexpected. The city is so modern, but at the same time, traditions are still strong. Puzzling for sure. We went to the desert a couple of times, in Mongolia, Iran, and India - such an incredible experience!
