This honestly is an amazing tutorial, and super beginner friendly. The way you explain how things should look and what it does in simpler terms! Really amazing!
As someone new to heavily modded Minecraft, in this case Create: Arcane Engineering (what a learning-curve to drop into!), you present your work very well an in a relaxed, easygoing manner. Thank you for your work in this video!
@@omgitsbats nah nah you can actually convert *one* of those items to vertical gearbox. just throw it into the crafting table. i can't remember which one it was but the list is more or less accurate. A note to anyone who's still building this: Use cobblestone as your blocks, get something that lava can't burn.
awesome tutorial. easy to understand and compact build! this is perfect for early game , ill be building this for sure in my current world , thank you 😊
These are great videos , they are the only game tutorials I’ve been able to sit through. Thorough, easy to follow and in a calm manner, really appreciate it thanks
What an excellent tutorial - the pacing and clarity perfectly match the production vibe, and it's really easy to follow even though I only even heard about the mod today.
Awesome tutorial, just what I needed, I’m a bit tired of those crazy builds labeled as beginner (those are nice but I need something attainable for beginning)that require glitching and can only be built with a schematic cannon.
I've followed several tutorials from you, and they never fail to help me out. I am currently playing CReate Superflat, where resources are very expensive, so I exchanged the chaindrives on the front with small cogwheels, and the chaindrives in the back with another shaft and a belt. Otherwise, this runs very smooth!
after building this (in 1.20.1) I found out that it moved slower than in the video, it turns out you can just: stick a large wheel into a cog - connect it with a shaft - to another large wheel into a cog (increases speed) extend out the mechanism a few bit and connect everything with shafts and then everything's moving at how it is in the video 👍
Newer water wheels don't work the same way the old ones do, but as I found stacking the large ones in the modern version can actually be more efficient.
Hey, TyraLore if your reading my comment So Big ThankYou Because I was suffering from lack of Iron and Nuggets To make andsite alloy and you make it easier for me and sorry for poor english (I am your Big Fan Love from India/Asia)
Amazingly helpful! Thank you. I did have to add a 4th water wheel and a 3rd fan for it to work but both were super easy to do with your great instructions. My guess is its a mod pack setting adjustment.
I just started playing with the Create mod, and I still haven't figured out what side of a Blaze Burner attaches to a mixer. But thanks to you, me and my friends can now have infinite iron and flint, that is very usefull. Thank you!
I'm literally just 2 days into create mod and i already understood how this works, very great tutorial, i hope you can also make a gold farm machine tutorial

Just watching this like a year later. I just want to say thanks for this whole playlist ill be watching. And fuck that guy who said these are bad. Ive been binge watching for the past couple hours. THANKS AND CHEERS🎉
Hello! Great video! It works perfectly, however, I must ask, what version are you using? I noted that your drills and millstones are really fast compared to mine. I'm on [1.19.2 / 0.5.1.c], maybe it's a different version or just visual difference? Anyway, thanks for the video! It was really easy to follow and early game farms like there are really helpful.
Thanks for the tutorial! Mine has an issue though, cobblestone comes out of only one of the funnels, so all the load is on just one of the millstones, which eventually clogged up. Does this have something to do with the recent changes?
It is because he used andesite funnel instead of the brass one, these two type of funnel act differently from each other. The brass can let a whole stack move out, while the andesite one only let one at a time
I fixed that problem with mine by putting a second stack of cobble in the first chest. basically the cobble was being produced too slowly and it was only coming out of 1 funnel, by placing a second stack in the chest it started the second funnel going.
This is a fantastic starter design. It isn’t perfect, but adapting to the flaws turned out to be fun. ^_^ One thing I ran into as a problem was cobble-to-grinder ratio. I was producing way more cobble than I was able to grind out. My solution was to divorce the drills from most of the apparatus (made it a little more complicated, buuuuut worth the effort), then added a comparator to the initial cobble chest and a Clutch to the drill apparatus. Then I ran redstone from the cobble comparator to the clutch. TLDR, comparator made it so that if the cobble chest got too full, it would turn off the drills but not the belts. Other fun thing is you can add a mechanical press+basin further down the line at reduced power to compact iron nuggets and them into ingots. I’d recommend using a brass funnel to sort out flints and to make sure 9 nuggets pop out at a time. Thank you again for sharing this design. It has worked wonders for me. 🫡
You are probably in create 5.1 and not earlier, in 5.1 the large Waterwheels where added and made waterwheel not spin faster when they have more flowing water but they added the large waterwheels that generate more power but not more speed, so you need more cogs, so you have more du if you use large waterwheels you should have the power, so just add cogwheels
And here I am, new game, very bad seed (but i refuse to pick another one, because.. reasons), and absolutely no villagers in a 10 minute boat ride radius. (yeah, i'm on an island in the ocean). So no golem farm, and here's the first ever time I learned you simply wash gravel for nuggets... Wish I installed Create much earlier 🤣 Thanks for the tut!
Hi! Super tutorial. It's really useful as i'm just starting minecraft and create. Is there a way to cut off the drilling system but keep the grinders and fans alive? I sometime want to use the grinders with what i put in the chest but since there is a constant afflux of stones, the grinders do not release my items.
you can put a clutch between the chain drive and the drill with a lever to engage the clutch, as long as your drills are the only thing powered in line with the clutch, they'll be the only thing that turns off
Mine has an issue though, cobblestone comes out of only one of the funnels, so all the load is on just one of the millstones, which eventually clogged up. Does this have something to do with the recent changes?
I fixed that problem with mine by putting a second stack of cobble in the first chest. basically the cobble was being produced too slowly and it was only coming out of 1 funnel, by placing a second stack in the chest it started the second funnel going.
I feel like my water wheel generator is turning everything much more slowly in the video - have I done something wrong? Looking at the water wheels with goggles on, it says the kinetic stress capacity is 256su

i just learned about being able to turn gravel into iron nuggets because of this tutorial! thank you so much!

An awesome tutorial👍
thank you so much, this is a nice and easy to follow guide
Super beginner friendly, thank you so much!
I don't remember what version of MC it came out, but in 1.20.1 you can put leaves infront of the fans and water log them instead of using trap doors.
That is a very good point which I completely forgot. Thanks :D
Leaves can get waterlogged?
for a more space efficient cobble generator you can waterlog the drills instead of placing the adjacent stairs.
and then you can build below y 0 and not generate deepslate
Great video. Only thing i would have addeed was a RPM/Speed check for the gears
full item list:
1x lava bucket
8x buckets worth of water
8x trap door (unneeded if you use water logged leaves, in that case 5x leaves)
3x stairs (again, unless using leaves)
4x chest
51x building blocks
21x shafts
6x small cogwheel

7x encased chain drive
3x waterwheel
2x encased fan
2x millstone
3x mechanical drill
9x andesite funnel
5x mechanical belt
7:08 :o so THAT'S how you get the items out! I figured out the mill but couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get it back out!

Thank you, this helped me a lot! :)
amazing video and thanks for the great explanation! Def gained the sub.
But I do notice my cobblestone-chest filling up and almost being full. Is my millstone too slow?
Edit. Yep my lava generator is too fast, or the millstones are too slow. The whole cobblestone chest gets full and drops the cobble below the belts.
super helpful, not convoluted, to the point. very helpful for my ADHD brain
thanks, simple and easy to follow

They changed how waterwheels work a bit in 0.5.1, they basically made them simpler to use but you can't get them spinning as fast.

Hi i was wondering what computer you are useful to run the create mod smoothly
I have a very budget gt 1030 computer running create mod fine
I built this and it only uses the one conveyorbelt lane, doesn't seem to produce enough cobble to need the 2 lines
This is a fantastic starter design. It isn’t perfect, but adapting to the flaws turned out to be fun. ^_^

cool build! but wouldn't an iron golem farm be a lil easier maybe? ik it has nothin to do with the create mod tho!

you can put a clutch between the chain drive and the drill with a lever to engage the clutch, as long as your drills are the only thing powered in line with the clutch, they'll be the only thing that turns off
Since the update, is there a way to make the crushers go faster?
you COULD add a rotation controller, or extend your gear ratio further before running it into the millstones.
for some reason the chest is not dividing the cobblestone into 2 belts and giving out only on one belt
same here
Great video
pretty good!!
thanks, ima try this on the dawncraft modpack, do you think it will work?
Don't forget the 3 stairs and 2 millstones guys
Do you have a link to a schematic for this? Love your stuff and videos
I could see ways to improve it but it's still a good design, good job
10:45 woah! I didn't know that!
why are my water wheels not the same?
The game was recently updated which has changed their appearance. You can colour the new design to look like any of the wood types.
Thank you!

Mine has an issue though, cobblestone comes out of only one of the funnels, so all the load is on just one of the millstones, which eventually clogged up. Does this have something to do with the recent changes?
Shouldn't do. have you checked one of the funnels isn't blocked with something random?
I fixed that problem with mine by putting a second stack of cobble in the first chest.
basically the cobble was being produced too slowly and it was only coming out of 1 funnel, by placing a second stack in the chest it started the second funnel going.

Could it be that create has been updated? It seems that the spikes break slower, I use the modpack Create
I had to speed the machine up, it's just the water wheels are slower for some reason
why, when i put the cogwheel into the millstone, all the mechanism, just stop? :(
