Video interview with vocalist Nate Ruess, guitarist Jack Antonoff, and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Dost of American indie pop band Fun. Yeah, it's true. He's said that numerous times in live performances and interviews. The Gambler is a song about his parents. Nate had frequent bouts of pneumonia as a kid and they had to move from Iowa to Arizona.
love fun. i'm mad i havent heard them sooner than 2012. i think the first tim i heard them was some nights on the radio. i wish the radio would play other songs from that album. they are ALL great! i love aim and ignite too.
the advert for "Walk the Moon" comes up at the beginning - they supported fun. when I went to see them!!

This guys are my dream band , I always dreamed of a band that would play those arrangements , those chords , those emotionally charged lyrics and melodies but still had sampled/electronic drums and synthesis and actual pop songs,they even share the same views on Kanye West as me , who by the way is one of my favourite artists too, God bless them , god bless Jeff Bhasker and god bless musical ambition cause they've really inspired me to believe in my own music and take it to another level.
