i went tonight - this ride is AWESOME!!! It does things that i've never seen done on a coaster before, and when you add in the visual effects...you just have to experience it.

The coaster is just FUN. The queue is fantastic, the music is a great addition, and the coaster is the smoothest coaster I have ever ridden. The coaster feels like you are gliding the entire time. Although it is a long coaster, I didn't want it to end.

Agree feels like flying at times. You have to ride it to know what it’s like. The first time I wasn’t ready. It was too much. We rode again later and loved it so much it’s our favorite now. Agree front is less intense with regard to motion sickness. Ok for my 12 yr old, not my 6. I would say significantly more intense than space mountain. Because of the turning and weightless. Molly you are 100% right you have to watch out for the beginning. The launch and then up, then down and spin. After that it’s not as bad imho

I love your videos! They are helping me so much plan my future trip to Disney! And I find them entertaining! I would like to make one suggestion. When reviewing rides, if you could include information about the seat/harness and how people of size may feel in the ride, that would be so helpful. I know Disney World used to be one of the BEST parks for people of size, but with some of these new rides, the seats and harnesses are smaller and smaller. Knowing this information ahead of time will relieve some anxiety. I had an experience of having to get off of a ride because my partner and I did not fit on it together. It was humiliating :( Disney did help us out, but the knowledge will help us not have to go through that at all. THANK YOU in advance!

Relevant to Soarin', I know Kronk (real life Kronk) will lead you on a flight, but the seatbelt DOES get snug, so always ask a cast member. Cosmic rewind, for safety reasons, has a center divide (remember when you would ride teacups, and youd squish the outside guy? Well no more!) so it keeps you securely center inter the pull down bar. (I recommend visiting a restroom at 55 minutes to queue time) other rides are boaty, and calm, so you could even lie down if you wanted to. Anyhow, hope this wasnt too late! Have fun!

The main thing I was trying to figure out was whether this would be too much for my wife and kid, who aren't big thrill-seekers. Sadly, it sounds like they'll be passing on it, though I should enjoy it. (Their rule is that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is the absolute most for them, maybe even a little too much--anything more than that, they're not riding. Space Mountain is right out.)

But we feel the same Gs on Test Track, or even in our car sometimes right? (Maybe I should also slow down? LOL!) but when I watch a recorded walk through of the whole ride? its "Everybody wants to rule the world", or "I Ran" (Which I feel, personally should be replaced with Electric Avenue, since we dont run, we DIVE IN!) and the ride seems CHILL..... really slow like, really easy to keep your head up. with Conga? I know I was laughing but the turns just took hold XD Back on land and my legs went, but I LOVED Space Mountain and Haunted Mansions new baby!!! She's BEAUTIFUL!!! We missed the 7am window the day we were there but I was able to buy Individual Lightning lane. I did get into the virtual queue at the 1pm window so we could ride it again but our estimated call back time was 6pm and it kept getting pushed further and further back. Once it got pushed to 7:45pm I just cancelled it. IMO, this is a horrible guest experience. How does Disney expect anyone to plan their day around that? I preferred the old Fast Pass over this new confusing and convoluted Genie+ lightning lane, individual lightning lane, and virtual queue system.

It looks very neat. I am very glad to see another thrill ride, particularly one that isn't overly dependent on simulated movement and relies purely on screens.
I am still not a fan of it's location. Even with a weak tie-in/justification for it's placement in Epcot, I am certain that a GotG ride belongs somewhere else. Honestly, the only Marvel character I really see fitting into Epcot is Tony Stark and Stark Technologies, which would have slid in nicely with "Future World". Still excited for the ride, but this doesn't alleviate my concerns about recent Disney direction on park theming (which is to say they are getting weak or outright abandoning central theming).

But I wont lie, something with Stark Technologies DOES sound dope, but also Universal Studios hype Liscensing I do believe. But oh man it would fit in World Discovery SO well!!! IDK what "PLAY!" is, however we'll see what it is, before I could speculate if some sort of Stark theme might be better placed in the area.

She isn’t kidding about virtual queues filling quickly. Before Webslingers in DCA went to stand by lines we were going on a random Sunday but we knew that we weren’t going until the afternoon and most of the time I would get early spots (like 100 or less). I decided to wait 10 seconds after 7 am to refresh my screen and all the spots were gone for the day. You have to start at 7 am because 10 seconds makes a difference. 10 seconds y’all!!!!

Instead of replacing older attractions, the Disney Imagineers should simply upgrade them. They have enough room in Disney World to add attractions, instead of simply replacing them. They didn’t need to replace MAELSTROM in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion, just expand the area for FROZEN EVER AFTER.

An app called "My Disney Experience" and it can outline and even navigate your ticket purchases (I recommend only purchasing the genie + feature if you intend on going to MK) And if you book a hotel that is sponsored, or outletted through Disney, the guests have a special Wifi tag that gives them earlier access. So the 7AM Queue for example, opens at 6:30 for folks in the actual Disney resort hotels. Hope this helps!

I can certainly appreciate all the "coolness" of this ride, but in my personal opinion, this attraction doesn't belong at Epcot. Epcot, back in the day, was an educational theme park. Guardians of the Galaxy replaced "Universe of Energy." "Universe or Energy" fit the Epcot theme perfectly along with "Wonders of Life," (no longer there) "Spaceship Earth," "World of Motion," (now Test Track) "Living Seas," "Horizons" (replaced with Mission Space) and "Living with the Land." Why not just upgrade "World of Energy?" So, what is Epcot now? What's its identity? Is Epcot turning into a "glorified" Six Flags, or is it truly the "Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow?" I know Disney well...I worked there in Information Technology. Anyway, have fun with the Guardians of the Galaxy...it looks like fun! And, again, this is just my opinion...I would love to get your input. Do you agree that Epcot is going in the right direction?

You'll get some tummy wobbles, but, you NEVER went upside down, or had a steeper drop than 35 degrees in angle, on Ma- I mean, "Frozen Ever After" which also goes backword for a moment.... So yeah, I'd say it fits PERFECTLY, especially with Mission Space, and Mission Earth Sir. Like that Tomorrow Land we were promised that Magic Kingdom ran out of room for.... Oh well. The Food is its own ride lol. Have a good one!

My guess is it works the same way as Star Wars and Ratatouille. In that case, there’s some things you need to make sure of. If it’s you and your whole fam, make sure they ALL have some sort of mobile device to get the VQ.
Before 7AM on your day, make sure that your whole party is on the app (as in the tickets or guests something like that it’s called). That way it’ll ensure you all get on the ride. Then just be ready by 7 to tap. My suggestion is to wake up 10 minutes before. Also when making the VQ you can skip through all the little prompts and just click yes thru it all.
And hopefully with that, and an insane amount of luck and some prayers, you get the VQ. This is how I did with my fam last time I went to Disney for Ratatouille (got group 17 myself)
