Watched this last year casually and again this year as a guide for replacing a failed booster. Thank you for giving air time to Fourth Gens. Loving the 9C1 revival, cheers from WI
I ordered a set of Jeff’s taillights just from the pics he has done a great job creating them. Also great video always enjoy your nova videos keep it up.
If you decide to go with a big block you're going to have to go back to manual to make room for the valve covers. Especially if you have a big cam that robs your vacuum.
I have a 67 nova just got my kit and it doesn’t have a bracket on the back of the booster got mine at summit, would like to get the one u used or I’ll have to cut the bolts and drill holes, where did you get your kit ,
Great video... I used this same kit on my 70... however, after putting it all together... filled with fluid... as I started to bleed.. I never can get any pedal whatsoever.. no leaks anywhere etc... I did leave the bleeders open overnight to see if they'd gravity bleed to some degree.. and it only dropped maybe a quarter inch in the reservoir... Did you have a similar experience? Or, is it just a matter of a LOT of bleeding to get through it? Subscribed too.. I've messed with Nova's my whole life.. but never had a brake issue quite like this one. Thanks in advance!

@@boblance2442 If I’m remembering correctly, I got mine from JEGS.
Why are the side marker lights missing?
Removed during the restoration. Welded shut and painted over. Personal choice, going for a different look.
I see you bleed the master, What about the air in the proportioning valve? Long did you you let the system Gravity bleed?
@@1970m22ls6 About 1/2 hour. Closed all the bleeders just a bit to allow a slow drip.
@@threeriverswrench Thank you for the quick reply, Does the Gravity bleed remove the air from the proporting valve?
Most of it. I still suggest you have a helper with the final manual bleed. That’ll get any air left in the system.

I’d try to bleed it some more. Make sure there’s no kinks in your lines or hoses too. Good luck! Thanks for watching!
Any updates on your 70 Nova getting brakes to bleed?
