Hey! Definitely want to & have a few written out to do. Just been absolutely flat out with recording & producing work so haven't had a lot of time to do any high quality videos for the next tutorial. Sorry! Very keen to keep doing them, just have no time at all lately for anything apart from work. Thanks so much for watching & commenting, i really appreciate it! I will try my best to get another couple out before the middle of the year. Is there anything in particular you would like to see?
@@zanarirecords Ah, I understand! Absolutely no need to be sorry mate! I mean, apart from Reaper Mania and a few other channels, Reaper users don't have that many tutorials, so when I stumbled upon your channel, it was like a goldmine! The quality of the tutorials is pure class! Thank you so much for them! I have nothing in particular, but if you could manage to, I think just showing us your production process, you know like maybe a track from scratch or something similar, could really help us improve our workflow! But honestly, I'd be happy with whatever you decide to make a tutorial on! Thank you for the swift reply! All the best with your productions and the channel man! Cheers!
I love watching these videos at work when it's quiet. I feel like the hand gestures make like you're throwing the information at me and I'm retaining it well. Thank you, sensai!
I just automated the reverb in my song! I'm adding some cool special effects at the end of my song. I did a guitar note with pitch bends. Then I added the Seventh Heaven reverb. Then I clicked 'trim' and looked at the options from the reverb. When I saw "wet/dry mix" I knew that was the one I wanted. In the envelope, I made a point before & after the guitar note. Then I dragged the line between them all the way down (100% dry). Then I dragged the right point all the way up. It created an eerie effect, where there's no reverb & then it automates up to full reverb, making it sound further away. I can't believe I was able to pull that off! Reaper is amazing!!! 😎
An easy way is adding ReaControl prior to kontakt & automating the pitch wheel in Reacontrol. This also opens up options for automating multiple channels at once if you're into sound design with multiple synths
Hi, this is pretty cool-looking, but I am a screen reader user and all these moves were done seemingly with the mouse. I'm not even sure how to get access to the trim dialogue with the keyboard, (investigating that elsewhere) Do you know how I might do this?
Hey! So after some snooping around the actions list in Reaper I found that the action 'Track: View Envelopes For Current Track/Last Touched Track' should open the Trim Dialogue for you. Mine is bound to the function key + F10 - I'm not sure if this is a default shortcut, however I don't remember changing it myself so it could potentially be. Then using tab it can navigate to dialogue headers, but not the individual automation points. Still trying to figure out how to navigate to each automation point inside the dialogue. I also found this tutorial that goes over it & may be of use to you. reaproducer.com/basic-automation-with-reaper-and-osara-rt16 Sorry I can't be of more help! LMK if you figure it out. Thanks heaps for the comment!
Hey mate, just wanted to know if you'll be making more tutorials for Reaper? Been waiting for ages now :)
Cheers!
