WE are on to a great program here to get three crops a year in Eastern Washington , U.S.A. , we are semi-desert here using pivots to irrigate with . We plant early sweet corn under plastic in late March , picking it as early as July 2nd to July 15th . Then in three weeks plant Triticale seed [ after each planting ] up to 12 to 24 plantings of sweet corn , up until July 15th , by October 1st it is over knee high and beef cows are put in . We try and pull cattle off each section leaving about 5 inches standing . If cattle pulled early enough and not eating to the ground and winter is not to tough , it comes back in spring to be high moisture round bailed . Thus three crops per year . YAHOO ! ! !
We used to be dairy farmers , our biggest chopper was a John Deere 5830 , it was great for our size [ beat the pull type choppers ] . [ a long way from my grandfathers hand sickle , Ha Ha LOL ] . We now grow the best [ we think ] in United States , sweet corn you can possible grow ! Kallstrom Sweet Corn , Ephrata , Wa. U.S.A.
Finally got to see this outstanding!! Looks and sounds like a great team there!! Cracking outfit with gear 🤯🤯 was wondering who was presenting the video at 1st since I hadn’t seen CIan in so long 😜😂
Be great if you were able to travel to Germany to the farmer's protest it's completely overwhelming how much support they are receiving and how many farmer's are involved as last I heard there were 5,500 tractors heading for Munich.
if you're driving for one of the contract outfits and have a decent amount of experience under your belt with more complex tasks and are looking for a good option for winter look into driving groomers for the ski fields, they're always looking for people, good opportunity, plus you'll be working with people from all walks of life from all over the world on a skifield (hint party time in your down time) had mates do this an travel the world on decent money!
I have analyzed your channel. Your video content is very nice, I enjoyed it. But one thing I noticed is that I can see some problems in all your RUclips videos. Can I discuss this with you?
Awesome video, but as a seasoned jcb guy it twists my tits watching these guy's flicking the forks like they have Parkinson's wearing the shit out of it.. rrrr
No one mention's how much people are getting paid for driving these loaders, tractors etc. Pay in New Zealand used to be fairly poor compared to Australia....
Kiwi who worked on farms in AUs for years....Air con on euro tractors that can't keep up,FLIES!,mosquitoes at night, snakes in those pit covering tyres, half dead angry snakes in bales, the distance to town, ticks on the dogs, terrible thorny weeds.YES MUCH BETTER PAY

How else are you meant to spread the grass? Put it in a fert spinner?
@@georgeholland1160personally I prefer when the trailers tip straight on the pit and you can spread it with a powerharrow
Most contractors I've seen do tht here in New Zealand its common practice

Yeah pretty much minimum wage or just over
wow, expensive machines, skilled operators, but rubbish pay in a country where the daily cost of living is high.
I went across to South Island in 2019 at 18 and was getting paid $25 a hour about £12.50 which was far more then I would of been on at home back then
