my friend worked in USA he said he can't find any donut places similar to Jco, when he come back to Indonesia with his friends from USA, and they all agreed that Jco have the best donuts in the world (his friends some of them are European).
its hard to believe because main course indonesian isn't bread but we have a good quality donuts.
Honestly I agree with your friend 100% I've tasted USA donuts and I'm from Canada, it's sooo bad down here, the donuts don't have the delicious flavor and amazing freshness and richness of JCO
and the owner of this brand is a hairstylist not even a baker.

How can anyone say that. They are way TOO sweet. Also the drinks, especially coffee in JCo. I like Duncan Donuts, they are the best. JCO can give you diabetes.

Siapa bilang Dunkin donuts kalah? 😂 ga pernah makan dunkin donuts ya? Dunkin donuts isi adonannya padat jadi lebih kenyang dab puas dimakan, makan 2 aja bisa kenyang.. TAPI jco adonan dalamnya kopong alias hampa tidak padat kyak donut di warung 2 tu jadi ga puas buat dimakan makanya harganya lebih murah dripada Dunkin donuts! Gue bukannya membanggakan produk asing ya, tp gue cuma bicara jujur aja 😉😉
sepakat.. buat gw juga Jco is better than Dunkin.. Ini bukan soal kenyang apa gak makan 1 donat, tapi lebih ke taste nya.

@kedamateurmagician1209 btul, disini kulturnya donat itu sebagai cemilan jadi lebih prefer jco yg soft kopong tp memang cocok buat enjoy nongkrong, klo di luar donut lebih padat mengenyangkan biasanya buat pengganti sarapan ato makan siang. Beda kulturnya sih

FYI JCO is so miled compare to all American donuts which are so heavy.
You can eat a box of JCO donuts but one American donuts (dunkin or krispy creme) is enough.
i'm a huge fan of Jco. when i moved to edmonton, i think i could find another best donuts in Canada and i was wrong. but Tim Horton's donuts are that good too, especially Apple Fritter and Boston Cream with double2 coffee.

fun fact. initially the founder of jco were trying to bring krispy kreme to Indonesia, knowing how famous it was around the world. however, after trying it, they felt that krispy kreme is too sweet and too heavy. feeling that the taste would be too sweet for indonesian, they decided to open their own version, with toned down flavour of krispy kreme, named jco.
krispy kreme finally opened their shop few moments after jco launched, but as suspected by jco founder, for a lot of indonesian krispy kreme flavour is just too sweer, albeit they claimed that the indonesian version is already toned down version.
turned out a lot of people, not just indonesian, feel that jco taste more appropriate and feel "just right" compared to KK

in my opinion, krispy kreme's glazed donut tastes batter than jco's but the flavored ones with various toppings? jco definitely wins

I got disappointed when i bought donuts and timbits from tim hortons. The texture is more like a cake than bread. Jco is my standard of donuts. So far no one can compete jco in my heart 😆

hello, I want to recommend my favorite menu at JCO besides donuts or coffee, it's called JCOOL, it tastes like yogurt ice cream with various types of toppings. The taste is fresh, sour and sweet, very suitable for the hot weather in Indonesia, usually the toppings I order are lychee, strawberry and also jelly
I Love the glazed one and almond one. They are always in my top list when be in JCo.
Btw.. The toppings which between the donuts and the coffee are for the yogurt ice cream or frozen yogurt. For me, the frozen yogurt is so good

Btw, the bakkery "BreadTalk" or "Mako" interconnected to the shop you almost went into is from the same company, they have best bakery and pastries as well.

me too...I love the first doughnut u try...I always buy that...I just like simple taste but super good and don't like too heavy flavour
It’s crazy i tried so many donuts including krispy kreme and the only one i would consider good is the clasic glazed donut. The rest are very hit or miss with most donut shop but jco. Jco never missed and i love how perfectly mild it is. Like you feel it is on a border of being sweet but it is not that sweet so you don’t get sick of having them.
Alcapone and heaven berry are my most favourite donut from jco! They're amazing!
You're right! Jco's doughnuts are very soft and most of the toppings are also light but still flavorful, which is why I really like Jco over other doughnuts. If I eat other donuts one is enough, but if it's Jco donuts I can eat quite a lot. My favorite is coco loco, try it next time :D
By the way, I love the way you review honestly without beating around the bush!
I recommend you to try the dunkin, try the triple chocolate.. its hardly find these days,mostly sold out but its worth to try

I think Asian in general preferred less sweet and less artificial flavored desserts that's why the donuts are mild. I mean it's not too sweet is a compliment for dessert or cake in Asia.

Never go to Taman Mini. This donut shop is more interesting, and they don't charge $3 per car you can't drive around the park. The zoo is better and cheap as hell.
