“Give this dude some water to clear his throat” had me rollin.. yo B that dude was floating right.. Eto has been putting in work for some time. Check out his work with V-Don good stuff for real. It’s always good when dudes like this get shine. B, you already know where you are with me and everyone on here. The best doing it!! Nothing but the utmost of respect👊🏿
Lmao bro straight up slid on that song!! Wasn’t expecting that at all 😂 Ima check that one out Fasho - v don made me a fan after his joint with Ransom! Man I really appreciate that brotha! Can’t overstate hope much the support means. I make vids but y’all really the engine behind it- I get a lot of freedom to cover artists based on talent and not popularity and that cus y’all be supporting 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
That Mickey Diamond joint is Tuff too - multiverse been one of my fav songs so far this year. I ain’t peep that Styles P joint yet. Honestly don’t care for his solo discog but ima check it out. It’s nice? Yooo if you haven’t checked them out you gotta peep Skyzoo’s Mind of a Saint and Oddisee’s To What End which are 2 of the best projects so far!
Omg I’m not sure how much Eto you done. He’s the most underrated all time. His bars are for people who were in the game, shit goes over most peoples heads. He’s a genius
Lowkey did this one by popular demand. A few folks told me to check it out, and I ended up rocking with this. How'd you feel bout this one? I'm familiar with Eto, but I haven't went through his whole discog. How's this stack up with the rest?
@@BSideRapReviews First heard him on V Don's album Black Mass, on the song of the same name and I fucked with his style heavy, haven't given his discog a strong look, but I'll def give this album a look.
@@BSideRapReviews He doesn't do a ton of full releases compared to people like Griselda and Ransom but his catalog is really sturdy and he's been around a lot longer than people think. I honestly haven't finished this one yet but my favorites from him are Omerta with V Don, Hell's Roof with DJ Muggs and The Beauty of It. Oh can't forget about Eto Brigantine which is a pretty great concept album based on the movie Carlito's Way.
@@wooopwoop I be listening but I edit them out if I don’t have anything of substance to say - I be tryna get to the meat and potatos hahaha. It backfired when I did that on peace flygod and it turned out to have the beat beat of the album - niggas got on me for that lol
@@BSideRapReviews I was anticipating it for a while so it didn't hit me as hard as I was expecting at first; but as with most Eto's joints it keeps growin on me. Poetry is dead, poets interlude, and the Daniel Son cut are what I keep replaying now. You should get a reaction for Bush Doctor from Daniel Son if you haven't peeped, or his joint project with Futurewave Son Tzu and the Wav God. Keep it up King
Fasho! Was kinda just expecting a run of the mill spooky sounding coke rap album that would be a solid listen and not much more but was pleasantly surprised. I rock with this one
Maaan I can’t even lie I still gotta check out bush doctor. One if my bros (Ilia - he be commenting on her often) been telling me the same but I been slacking haha. First project I heard from him was the joint with Futurewave. I been tryna up the amount of projects I cover this year so I got him on the radar Fasho!
Preciate it brotha! ✊🏾 Man ima bars and lyricism guy when it comes to music. Right now it’s a lot of people doing it at a high level so as long as rappers keep making good projects - ima keep the reactions coming!
Eto is one of those guys I like on a feature but he not really strong enough to carry an entire project. JMHO. Futurewave really carried this one to me. I really like him. B, are you tapped in to Mickey Diamond?
Honestly, that's how I've felt about Eto and actually a LOT of other rappers in this griselda influenced lane of rap. I thought he did a great job here, but his flaws started shining the longer you get into the album. I think his technical rapping is good - he just needs to create more memorably moments - either with some heavier punches, more fleshed out concepts, or little bit better storytelling. I think this was def a step in the right direction. Futurewave here was def the start of the show though no argument! Dude was dang near flawless
Bro I just tapped in last year - I'm still going through his discog. Trill Tev the one who put me on when he reviewed Bangkok Adreneline. I checked out the joints with Big Ghost too and then the joint he dropped this year (that I liked a lot even though its super short).
@B-Side Rap Reviews Yeah Oroku Saki goes hard especially with the Doom MM...Food homage on the cover art. If you really wanna bust your brain, peep Bankok Dangerous 1 - 3. I know 3 projects is a big time commitment and you're a busy man but I really think it would be worth your time. He's been bubbling for a minute and now that he has done 2 projects with Big Ghost, ppl are finally taking notice. If time is too short, I have a Bankok Dangerous 1 - 3 playlist on deck already so if you want it just say the word.
Yes!!!!! Eto is the most lyrical dude. Especially when he does the reverse scheme. I think Eto and Daniel Son in all their songs together are perfect. Sun Rey on Omerta, is one of my favorite songs ever by them both
Got dang Eto sound so young on that joint…bruh even had “lil” in his name still hahaha! Didn’t realize how many fire spitters V Don has worked with until recently. What’s the reverse scheme you mentioned?
@B-Side Rap Reviews he starts and ends a line with a word that may have multiple meanings(like piece and peace) and then the next line will be the same way. I don't know if I'm explaining it right but it's very intricate. Youll appreaciate it. He does this scheme a few times. He was the first i heard do it. Then i remember him getting mad when Joell Ortiz made a song doing it and said he invented it. A good example is the song on his album with Muggs with Flee Lord and Big Twin.
Gotta love grimy-coke-rap with unusual instrumentals ... Never heard of this dude ... Appreciate how you show some new rappers to me G! Maybe give "Lukah" a listen, he had a single "Stigmata" with Boldy on his album "Why Look Up, God's In The Mirror" Don't know, if you like his rapping skills, but it sounds grimy ... Salute!
Fasho bro! That coke rap sun genre getting more and more crowded so it’s hard to keep up but always glad to see certain artists stand out and I think that’s what eto did here. I haven’t heard most of his solo stuff but out of what I’ve heard, this was his best project. Yooo I’ve actually heard that stigmata song before - it’s a couple years old right? Ima check him out - I think he had a pretty good verse on that song there - ima check out the whole album. Preciate the support bro! 💪🏾
Man I’m telling you if you find yourself within 10 miles of a City Trends at any point, you’re in big trouble 😂😂. Futurewave really does need to be drug tested though bro, he went CRAZY with his production on this album. Eto definitely is a solid technical rapper but I don’t believe he had enough standout punchlines outside of Poetry is Dead to make this a memorable performance on his end.
Lmaooo bro exactly 😂 That’s very fair. That’s been kinda why I don’t normally check for him that much. It’s cool when he drops but imo prior to this project he kinda just got lost in the shuffle of coke rappers. Def woulda liked to hear some more punches from him and hopefully he develops that skill but loved to see some improvement from him. Futurewave becoming one of my favs producers - he’s different
For me I’ve always seen him as a artist where I’d be pretty pumped to hear him featured on a song but wasn’t really checking for all his solo work like that. The fact that he did it with Futurewave made me tap in to this one and I Eto converted me too! This joint is tuff
@B-Side Rap Reviews once you get into him and Daniel Son also. You'll listen to his whole catalog. Daniel son and futurewave albums especially Pressure Cooker to me are dope as hell. Yendaldooshi and Sun Tzu are dope as well.
