Our story began in 1969, when the first KinderCare opened its doors to give record numbers of women the confidence to enter the workforce. Over 50 years later, we’re still here. And while lives and times have changed, the need for high-quality child care has only grown. Because it’s more than a fundamental need. It’s a powerful foundation and the key to shaping a future we can all be proud to share.
As the world evolves, we want to make sure that child care evolves with it. That’s why we offer a broad spectrum of programs for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old through KinderCare® Learning Centers, Champions®, Crème de la Crème®, and a full suite of employer-sponsored flexible child care benefits. Today, we operate research-backed, accredited, and customizable programs in more than 2,400 sites and centers across 40 states and the District of Columbia. As we expand, we’re matching the needs of more and more families, dynamic work environments, and diverse communities from coast to coast.
We’re building confidence in children, families, employees, and employers-whoever they are and wherever they live. How do we do it? By partnering with peers inside and outside of our field to push child care to the top of the agenda.
