I feel like since 🙅♀️the incident🙅♀️ they've kind of just been doing videos/ideas that they find fun and that bring them joy. I'm probably making more out of it than it is, but it gives me the impression that N** kept kind of a tight rein on the other guys and their creativity most of the time.
@@uhohspaghettios2391 I think you're right, I think they would probably have 2 or 3 of them saying yes and just him saying no and because there was a holdout it wouldn't get done. I think that they're just done saying no. Maybe not done completely because sometimes no needs to be said but I think they're saying yes to more silly or laid back things because they had to hold those ideas in for so long, and we get to reap the benefits of their "freedom" so to speak.

As someone who doesn’t like a lot of textured foods especially mushy foods with rough texture because of sensory issues I really love that YB and Zach respect Kwesies food sensitivities with mushy and textured foods and give him a warning that he won’t like the texture of the snacks, it’s so sweet
I believe they do the same with Becky as well! I’ve seen it in stories and past eat the menus where someone has just off-hand said “oh yeah Becky will not like that” I love it!
@@deaniewink ah ok. I don’t really watch Eat the menu. I’ll watch a few episodes and that’s seldom. But still I love it when people care and respect others preferred food palette or food sensitivities.
It is so nice to see. My friends are the same and through them, I've actually expanded what I will eat cuz they provide a judgement free zone to try stuff. It's so important and it should be the standard around food.

I would have like to see them interact with the robot more. Everyone looked like they're having so much fun! Loved vibe of random people joining them.

@@meganpriole6441 He had an injury that required some hospital time back in January, right before they started filming the current season of Phoning it in so he couldn't be in that. He's working on a video rn that's going to go into detail about it.

It’s a bit underhanded. The shop owner didn’t want them to film in the store, pretty sure it doesn’t matter if it’s on a phone or more professional camera

Those green melons are Japanese Yubari King canteloupes. They're really commonly associated with the word melon and they're basically green canteloupes. They're actually luxury items like most fruits here because fruit can be kind of difficult to grow on an island, but there are places famous for growing them. All fruits are expensive af at the grocery store though even if they're from the prefecture you're in.
My 2nd trip here when I was on vacation and still lived in the US, a cart was set up outside the station near my Airbnb and the melons were 5000 yen, and the cart had signs advertising them as good gifts for your bf or gf as a luxurious present.
I love the format of this, but I wish you had someone with you that could tell you about the foods too.
Also for real, like others I wish this was more of a series. But like if you turned this into a travel thing, I wish there was a safe way for you guys to go places and have fans show you local cool stuff you haven't tried. Like I'd love to be able to do that and show you around the inaka I live in Japan, but that's a lot of planning and I totally get a safety risk for a public figure to go out and randomly meet fans. But omg the cool adventures that could be had!
I know y'all talked about different styles of videos for this year, and I'm personally loving this one! It feels so laid back, and you can tell you're genuinely having fun.

I always thought it was musk melon because that's what they call it in Japanese, but apparently cantaloupe and honeydew are types of musk melon. I personally don't think it is honeydew because honeydew sucks, but maybe there is a better variety haha
@@imaniware4944 I always thought honeydew sucked since it was always by far the worst fruit in those pre-packaged fruit salads. Then I had actually fresh-cut honeydew and it was amazing!
@@imaniware4944 You are right, it is a muskmelon. Cantaloupes are considered a type of muskmelon, but not all muskmelons are cantaloupes. It is not a honeydew, as those have smooth rinds.
I love how balanced this trio is 🥰 They’re a funny group without any of them overshadowing the other. I also think the little fan interactions in this video were fun 🌟
I'm stationed in Japan and those chocolate mushrooms is something everyone loves on my ship lol. This deployment we got them in our store and they were sold out almost immediately!
The absolute best thing about this video is the fact that they just picked up new friends as they went along.

I Loved this video. I think is one of the best that the Try Guys have released this year just because it felt really natural. I think it's a good kinda video to release between series that are more "produced" like phoning it in

It felt quicker than 10 minutes too because of the filming/editing style and the fun everyone was having (including for the people watching). I would have watched a longer vid of this too!

One of the things I liked about the old snack videos was how people who ate the snacks all the time recommended the snacks. This way they were just picking things they already knew or random things. Welcome back YB!

I'm glad Kwesi could get snacks because he likes dry stuff but I hope he's careful with chocolate - it makes him thirty. For water

Seeing a video in this format really actually felt like "FRESH AIR" compared to the scripted videos and content we're used to. I absolutely loved it and I fully support the variety! Watching you interact with random fans and getting 'personal stash' snacks from friendly shop owners is genuine and wholesome. Great stuff!

I frequent the Oriental Market near me weekly (mostly for their variety of Hi-Chews, onigiri, corn puffs, shrimp chips, etc.) and found the onigiri is better when you wrap it in a wet paper towel, microwave it for 45 seconds, then wrap it in the sea weed wrapper. Makes it SO MUCH BETTER to me. I love them as a quick breakfast to go before work.
