I was there today with my scooter kids, 5 and 7 years old. I made my kids observe the flow and introduce themselves to the boarders. It's always been up to the elders to help the kids understand and I was glad that there were patient veterans there who felt comfortable enough to tell my kids when they did wrong. It's a great place but you're right, it's swarmed by kids who are only barely observed by their parents. A little education would go a long way there.
I don't know how they managed it, but the Fremont, Ca skatepark banned scooters and actually enforce the ban, inciting that they are a danger to skaters. That was my favorite local skatepark when I lived out there. Im sure that bums out scooter riders that are actually good, but skateparks aren't playgrounds. Entitled parents think that because they pay taxes, they can let their kids run around skateparks, but i never see them feel entitled to let their kids run around a baseball diamond or a basketball court when there is a game going on.
apex is probably one of if not the best street parks in NC. super fun to just ride around, the big roll in is super useful for getting used to really steep ramps and helping with drop ins. also the great amount of rails, ledges, and stairs. 9 out of 10 because of all the scooter kids that love screwing you over
Haha that’s my local, I scooter but I’m not a snake like most skaters think, I’m actually semi pro and I have sponsors, I can get why you say scooters are snakes because little kids ride scooters, and they don’t know how to stay out of peoples way

I love to skate there
I live just down the road from this skate park. It’s always so damn busy. 150 people there some days at least. No room to do anything safely
I got there early but you're right around noon it got extremely crowded.

I have never been to this skate park but Riverside Skate Park is in Mt. Airy.

It's honestly not even that they were snakes its just that there were sooo many of them. They basically took over the entire park lol
