Thanks for sharing this. What memories I have with this band when I was a child. I watched their music videos everytime on Much Music Channel, never on MTV.
I that that guys name ? Carl? I remember him doing bumpers for MM shows and random appearances, he was funny- was he a comedian or MM employee or something?
Could you believe that in the one year since you left this comment that it has gotten irrevocably worse ? That’s the whole reason I found this video - chasing nostalgia trying to escape the future.
What is the deal with the guy before the last chorus asking if you “like to oil up” and the bit about breakfast…was that some cultural reference I missed or just some overserved guy?
I was three weeks into grade 8 when this aired! Still one of my favorite Matt Good songs
Thanks for the upload. This was from the golden age in Toronto imo … miss this city!
You got that right. The golden age in Toronto. I miss that city too. I lived there until 2001
Dave Genn did some magical stuff for Matt Good
Listened to Beautiful Midnight practically on a loop while I was in Vancouver the last week and boy he had some great riffs and tones.
His guitar work on Beautiful Midnight is brilliant.

When Canada , and Toronto, was cool. Now it's a cesspool.

Damn, Louis Theroux is a great singer. 😂

He might have been a much music vj, I've seen him before. The things he said I don't think meant much, just hyping the crowd
