The Sleepers / Toiling Midgets / Negative Trend string of bands may be my favorite, but Middle Class fit in there in a weird way, too. As a matter of fact, I don't think my son would realize that the Middle Class were from LA. That poor kid heard "Out of Vogue" nearly as much as he heard "the Wheels on the Bus" or the Boondocks theme. We live the life we need to live.
