- Serhii Bohachuk (24-1, 23 KOs) took home a unanimous decision over Brian Mendoza (22-4, 16 KOs) to win the Interim WBC Super Welterweight Title. Bohachuk dominated many of the early frames before Mendoza rallied in the last third of the fight. After several explosive exchanges in the final round, Bohachuk took home the decision by scores of 118-110 and 117-111 twice.

Nah, Bohachuk is actually gonna be a nightmare at 154, 160 and 168. This dude has got that Beterbiev tree chopping power. Could do with improving some of his footwork and evasiveness, as Beterbiev has a little more of this element to his game too but...just an absolute hacksaw of a fighter. Needs to have "steer clear" as his fighter name.

Brian Mendoza in my opinion I just think he needs to get a new trainer Israel Silas for me was just giving him totally bad advice I don't think the advice he was giving him worked clearly lost got his ass whipped completely the game plan was horrible for this type of boxer pressure boxer like that I just think you should have been sitting down his punches and kept a stiff jab and circling as opposed to moving straight back and he just didn't use the jab at all he needed a stiff hard job tonight and he didn't do it just a bad game plan I would absolutely fire my coach for sure 💯
As a boxer and a fan of mendoza I completely agree, was really hoping he would use that jab and stick it out instead he got pummeled.
Fundora would have lost the fight if he didn't cut Tszyu right above his eyebrow. Respect to him for going the full distance too

Bohachuck is an unbelievable fighter I love he’s combos and how calm he’s under pressure. But what I love about him the most, is the fact that he smiles every time he gets hit. Specially when Mendoza hit him with the left body shot! It crack me up the way he smiled 😂it was priceless! I do the same thing when I get hit during sparring or in a fight. Ps, it does still hurts like son of a bang bitch though! But we just pretend that it doesn’t. 😂😂😂

I don’t understand why all promotions don’t just release the fights a week or so after the event. It’s not going to hurt sales for the live ppv and it’ll probably make the channel and the product more popular

@@JamesMoragax lol nah. HBO used to do it. If you actually care about the fight enough to buy the ppv, you wouldn’t be able to go a week without finding out who won. I read and talk about boxing all the time. Otherwise, if I cared that much about not paying, I’d just illegally stream it, or I could find it elsewhere on the internet. They are usually posted within a week somewhere anyway. I just like rewatching the fights after I buy them

@@JamesMoragax maybe. I don’t know. But I would think it would be good marketing to show your fighters and not hide their fights from the public for months or years. PBC really doesn’t even have a service with an archive of all their fights. There are some on Amazon now but not a great collection

PBC holds onto their fights for months or years, and there is no streaming service with the full archive. Amazon has some of the fights now but not a great catalogue. They don’t have the data if they’ve never done it
Mendoza two last losses (this fight and Tim Tzyu's fihgt) made me become a fan, his style is so beautiful to watch and what a heart and chin. I'm a fan of this guy for life and can't wait to see him back against top opposition

I've never seen Bohachuk fight until now but he reminds me a lot of a better version of Texeira. Tall, lanky, with some awkward and slow shots but they are effective when they land. 154 is still such a fun class even with the former 1 and 2 guys, Jermell and Castaño, being inactive in the weightclass since their classic fights

Mendoza's chin is legendary, but unfortunately, he's too easy to hit.
This was the best fight of the card. Boachuck is scary and would beat all of the veterans at 154. Vergil is with out an opponent why is fishnets overthere not pursuing a fight with him.

Mendoza won this fight 115-113, 115-113, 116-112.... The judges robbed Mendoza. The Ukrainian meanly hit Mendoza with his elbow, but the referee pretended not to see and did not take the score off Pokachuk. Unfair refereeing.

Lo que no entiendo salvo deficiencia física, como el EstadoUnidense, pienso raices Puerto Riqueñas, no le instruyeron desde la esquina, cambiar la distancia, porque el Ucraniano le estaba dando estopa de la buena.
En fin, en mi opinión Mendoza , tendrá que mejorar su forma de boxear en la corta distancia o cambiar a una distancia que sea capaz de dominar o que sienta mejor mentalmente.
Bien, la pelea, fue a un ritmo medio , bajo, donde el Ucraniano se sintió muy cómodo y además manteniendo en todo momento la guardia muy arriba y bien cerrada.
Inteligente boxeo del Ucraniano, que supo acorralar a su oponente durante todo el combate, salvo un round, por distracción.
