Better setup is threaded barrel for the Flux raider. Having 3 points of contact that the Flux raider allows reduces the need for the integral compslide. Keep the axg legion slide on a handgun where you only have two points of contact instead.
it is for health...but the idea we're gonna need to do crazy diving to utilize effective home defense or in a street shootout defensive situation from less than a block away from each other, is a bit much. No one really needs all that for home defense or street situations...that's for raids, ops, military. If you hunt, okay...that too. But a man in a wheelchair can defend his home just fine, or himself on the street, without needing to do cartwheels. It's really got not much at all to do with the reason most people own a gun, or a PDW specifically. I agree, though, it saves lives, and should be done for health...not to pretend we're diving over couches with our bad backs and knees from our construction jobs lol.
@@carlsmith8176 don't worry, these guns are really not that good at all. Literally the only reason that people like them so much is because the automatically won the new handgun program because the US government didn't even bother running the ACTUAL TESTING of the gun or any part of phase 2 at all. Glock dropped out after phase 1 because they weren't gonna give their guns away for free or make stupid modifications to their guns that would compromise the quality and durability and ESPECIALLY the reliability of the guns; the modifications that the government was asking them to make in order to be able to move on to phase 2. And so because the Glock's didn't have total ambi controls and some stupid requirement for a poorly designed style of ambi safety lever that, again, is just a bad requirement that is causing problems for the P320s even today. Glock didn't have the ambi safety and some other tiny things and so for some reason the entire procurement process broke down (likely corruption going on here IMO, someone there must have some kind of relationship with SIG for that process to just shut down like that without even going to phase 2 to actually let Glock decide if they would make the necessary changes and if they could do it quickly enough, or at least force Sig to go through phase 2 to see if it will even pass. But for some reason they were hell bent on getting the Sig even though they we don't know how it actually performs and what its reliability is actually like because we didnt' do the full testing and technically we still haven't done the equivalent of the proper testing we were supposed to start with. It's really weird and disconcerting that this happened. This has never happened before and it's really fkn weird and kinda scary that all these rules are being bent and broken to ensure that Sig wins.
As a southpaw, I've never come across a better ambi setup then on H&K pistols. My P2000SK is modded with a slightly larger ambi mag release. That's it. However, what I see here is very exciting indeed. Now all I need to do is learn how to shoot. 🙂
It's a blast to shoot, and one of the coolest things to hold in 2024, but it's hard to justify the price tag without more customization from SIG. It would be way more desirable if SIG did a P320L slide and barrel like HK did with the P30L. The Legion slide as it stands is not appropriate for the Raider chasis besides looking cool with the integrated comp and fwd slide serrations. Some more specialized organizations are chopping the polymer slide mount to keep the chasis much more concealable and low profile. It would behoove them to engineer a removable rear sight rail especially when paired with the Legion because you can't make use of that sight cut out on the slide otherwise. Now, it's still a super gray area for the insanely unconstitutional sbr regulations still in place since 1934, but if they made a removable sight platform and made a P320L Legion slide, the platform would be way more desirable. You can add a comp to a regular p320 slide that brings it out closer than the legion integrated comp to the end of the polymer frame. As a side note, the DPM progressive recoil spring system for the Legion makes a world of difference for the system, and gives you the ability to run suppressed if you want. It is expensive, but it is a blast to shoot. I imagine these improvements I listed will be available in the future if the customer base continues to grow as it has.
Maybe Sig will be able to keep up with demand, but please sell as chassis alone. You can do just as well with an off the shelf 320 and a Strike industries SMC for under a thousand, love mine!
Seeing how close a thumb to the barrel end I would add "amputator" to the name -> P320 Flux Legion Amputator :) I would stick to the MPX Copperhead or K. I can manage an extra 500+ grams, but missing a finger? Not so much
min.6:30.....this thump was dangerous in front of the muzzle. Not so safe having a stock longer then the barrel, you tent to grip there. I like your channel, specially when you tour thru Europe. Greetings from Barcelona.
Now we know why Sig offered 600 p320 cali-x which sold out rapidly, especially after announcing they were never making them again. That enclosed romeo 2 dot is likely mil spec'd and fit only on military issued m17/m18's. Last time I checked, the enclosed romeo 2 dot was $800.
The #1 problem with this is that it is still a p320. The #2 is that it uses the integrated comp instead of one of the slides that would be flush to the end and safer for the fingers. #3 is that the safety option (a must for a bag gat) is weak on the raider and was solved on the raider 365
you want to talk about other mens shirt size instead of the firearm. Theres another gun channel where they wear xxl shirt maybe youd like that more looser
I don’t run, I reload 😅 sorry, but I got ran over on the freeway one day while riding my motorcycle to work. Left leg is pretty much trashed. You’re 100% right. You have to train and stay dangerous, but not all of us can or will run. But you better believe I’ll lay down plenty of suppressing fire to give you time to run, if that’s what you choose to do.
What threw me off is is the one dude that had his thumb WAY to close tot he tip of the barrel while shooting. I for sure was waiting for him to blow his thumb off…
If sig would fix the platform so the pistols would stop self discharging I'd consider one of these. Agree, if you want quality it costs… from the quality of the metal that’s used to mill the slide and barrel, to the quality of the polymer that’s used to mold the grip module, and all the other little pieces parts too… I’m not familiar with FLUX’s products per se, but SIG has a reputation for using some of the highest quality materials in their firearms and since this is a SIG collaboration with FLUX I’d assume they’re not slouching either on their quality, otherwise I wouldn’t imagine SIG would allow them to not only use their SIG name let alone put their top tier LEGION logo on the product!
Only pistols, yes. It's because the federal definition of a handgun includes that it was designed to be fired with one hand. Adding a second grip means that it is designed to be fired with two hands so it puts it in the category of "any other weapon" which are regulated the same way suppressors and hand grenades are lol
