I love this theme and I love jazz. So a jazz version of this theme is right up my alley. Good job on the cover! HOWEVER… I do think the arrangement could have been a lot stronger. The main theme was amazingly played at the beginning but it could have used way more time to breathe and be toyed with for a lot longer before the long solo/freestyle section between 1:15 to 5:43 which takes up more the 70% of the song. I think a long drawn out section like that is more impactful after the main theme has had its time in the sun for a bit longer. The original song also has a really sweet breakdown just before the loop kicks in again which would have been great to hear but it wasn’t touched on here, which is interesting because the solo sounded like it was going to go wild on that concept with a cool remix of some kind. Anyway, perhaps it’s a taste thing on my part but, just a bit of critique/feedback I thought I’d share about an otherwise mostly solid cover.
