    I'm glad that account got deleted. Everyone knows fake news or a simple rumor could destroy ANYONE! I hope Rae still proceeds with action and continues to do so with any clip account. It doesn't matter if they need the money or not. You can tell she has worked hard for all that she has achieved. These out of context clips are getting out of control and it's damaging now.

    Saying "I get why they are doing it, they are trying to make some money" is a way to explain away someone uploading just normal clips or edits from streamers and trying to make a bit of money from work that isn't theirs, this ultimately helps out the streamers too in a way with the publicity possibly being brought to them from people who may not have seen them before. Especially for smaller streamers. But saying that on something like the clip shown in the video, accompanied by the text that was added does nothing for anyone apart from the person getting the few dollars for that tweet.
    Personally, if someone had so little respect for me that they would spread such lies and generate hate and is still willing to use my work for profit, best believe I will have no respect for them when it comes to speaking to lawyers.
    Get them got Rae!!

      But that tweet was one of the more egregious ones where it went a bit fantasy and defamatory. The other ones were "clickbait" titles, but the titles were from the actual unhinged clips. That's where the line gets blurry, because like you said, uploading clips is fine, even if out of context, because it's normally funny or entertaining and it's actually real. What happens when the clips and titles and everything is real, but they are just so unhinged that Rae doesn't want them clipped? The way Rae was talking about it, it seems like these types of clips that were real clips with real titles were the ones bothering her the most, because it's stuff she'd rather have hidden in a 6 hour stream. And that's fine for her to feel that way, but then where does the line go and how do clippers know what is acceptable and what is not? There's people doing stuff to hurt her yes, but I feel like there's going to be some innocent people caught in the crossfire, which I believe is what Rae was worried about

    • @TheDailyEgg
      @TheDailyEgg 2 дня назад

      I mean I wonder how this channel ClippyTV feels about it, because even on here there are certain titles that are a bit unhinged/clickbait/out of context. But obviously this channel doesn't do it to hurt anyone, so I hope channels like this don't get caught in the crossfire

    I see so many random channels here on YT pop up in my suggested, due to the people in the clips being Rae and others that I watch the official channels of. These other random channels are so creepy. Not only random out of context stuff, but also the audio being stripped from them. I feel that people should not be posting any clips of channels that is not their own. Channels that do post clips of streamers, the streamers involved should claim it as their own or do a claim of some sort to get it taken down. Don't let people profit or benefit off of others with negative content about them.

    A major problem is excusing their behavior by deciding not to go after the people. Twitter is protected by the safe harbor act, it shouldn't be up to Twitter to police everything that is said on the platform and while some might think moderation is good of content it starts to weaken their protection by the safe harbor act and it leads to scenarios like what we had of Twitter of old...where some of the content was literally stripped despite being truthful but just against what the lead person stood for.
    Overall you go after two places, Stake which is still partially protected but if they are sponsoring it's a bit easier and the person posting it [in some cases like that it's actually potentially a criminal act based on where they are from]

LOL also you're putting your own stories out there for anyone to use.. sure some of them were OD and completely false but anyone with a brain can tell just by watching the clip they post its not like they edit it.(aside from posting a stake logo) they aren't cutting out lines or things she says its just out of context also half the time the streamer isn't even talking about what the caption "may or may not state otherwise" LOL all it takes is watching the clip and having a brain...
