Saints fans: How spoiled were we in 2011!?Blows my mind to see Brees, Colston, Graham, Sproles, Moore, Henderson, Meachem, P.Thomas, Ivory, & a rookie Mark Ingram. WOW. All very reliable players too. Man I miss having 4 extremely solid WR's that don't drop balls & run their routes crisp. Yes Peyton Manning didn't play but that's still a professional defense New Orleans dropped 62 on! What you expect Peyton to put up 63? You don't see that really ever even on the most mediocre of defenses. Hold up Drew did all that in 3 qtrs only?! Sheeesh 🐐
The Colts had only one drive longer than 35 yards so if Peyton played the Saints probably would not have scored 62, if only due to time constraints. Indy was just about the worst D in the NFl that season too. Drew had a harder time v. SF in the playoffs.
Pedro Martinez if I remember correctly drew had his way with SF that year too in a shoot out. It was the defense who folded with under 0:10 seconds left on the clock to a vernon davis TD.

Andrew luck basically crippled now on life support. Meanwhile, Brady is the oldest QB in the game and still looking like a stud. Colts did Luck dirty, smh.
Brees was getting revenge on Painter for breaking his big 10 single-season record by a measly 2 points.... kind of a battle of the Boilermarkers if you wanna call it that. I also think Sean Payton sitting up in the booth and being able to see the game from that vantage point had something to do with it.

Indianapolis Colts was member AFC East Division from 1970 through 1993 and New Orleans Saints was member NFC West Division from 1970 through 1993 era
Sweet fact bro.
you know bradys first start was a division game against peyton
(wk 3 2001)
salamipitza only 3 greatest Dynasty quarterback the 70s Terry Bradshaw Pittsburgh Steelers the 80s Joe Montana San Francisco 49ers and the early 90s Troy Aikman Dallas Cowboys
Um try 2001 instead of 1993
MGB only 4 NFC West Division 1970 through 1993 era Atlanta Falcons Los Angeles Rams New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers
Saints were so deadly with prime Brees
I live in New Orleans so this made me so happy Black and gold for life WHO DAT SAY DEY GONE BEAT DEM SAINTS!
If it wasn't for Roger Goodell's interferance in 2012 the Saints would have made another Super Bowl run. He orchestrated the "bountygate" scandal to appease the lawyers suing over head trauma.
Miami in 2019: hold my beer
Love my Saints 💜😊
Can you do a highlight video for the Chiefs-Browns 2002 game? Crazy game all-around.
I love the way Drew goes to celebrate with his guys on pretty much every td. The Saints teams back then had mad team spirit.....
No idea why.t.f. im wondering if Brees was in New England with Belichick and Brady in Brees's place, how things would turn out. Any ideas??
Hope youre all well n good.
@11:09 Another Philly Special long before it was famous.
Paul Gaither plays like that have been around for decades...the Eagles made it famous by calling it on 4th and goal in the Super Bowl.
Now Sean Payton is on the other side of the blowout.
I am a saints fan and i LOVED watching Brees and the saints demolish the colts but i wont lie i do wish we could've gotten Brees vs Manning.
U did the Superbowl
Got it in 2012 in the same opposite World Series spot
You got it in 2007 and 2009 quit your whining
@@dukes1993724 lmao shut the fuck up
@@dukes1993724 He means during this game shut your mouth lmao
NFL Throwback, Thank you for not putting in the score. It is much appreciated.
Now, I don't understand, why some people think this is Monday night football. At the very beginning, there is the Sunday Night Football logo, that's just going away.
Definitely would've been a much different game had Peyton been playing.
Yeah I bet lol.
@NIKO SAMUELS bs Peyton would've thrown all over this saints team
Remember these 2 played in the super bowl and new Orleans won
We should’ve went to the Super Bowl this year. This 2011 roster was crazy good.
Stupid ass defense couldn't stop Alex Smith
@@nicholausbell2749 couldn’t stop Vernon Davis*. He had 7 catches for 180+ yards and 2 TDs. Smith was 17-32 for less than 130 yards and a TD through the air when not targeting Davis. His bootleg run would’ve served to make the game a littles less of an ass beating for them had the Saints decided Davis was worth covering.
Jesus Christ. 62 points? Not even the chiefs can score that much.
The Chiefs haven’t faced a team has bad as these colts recently. That 2011 colts squad was legendarily bad.
@@tromboneman4517 They did face the 2022 Rams. Who were also plagued by injuries like the 2011 Colts.
Happy to see we have team management now that understand how to build a team without relying exclusively on a star QB. This Colts team was build around Peyton and could not win without him. Happy to see we have a strong roster at basically every position now.
Alex Storer just imagine if Luck didn’t retire
Gonna miss you Drew😓
0:56 Ngl that was pretty smooth
Ahhh, another year drew got screwed outta an MVP.
The dual of the best two Purdue quarterbacks ever
*For the next episode of sad stories in football do that game from December 16th 2001.... If you dare* 😂😂😂
They won't dude, it's ilegal lol
The commissioner calls to say they need to end the game but not to say they can't use the rules of replay as toilet paper smh
@@mumblesomega3590 Sad but true bro
And to think these teams were in a Super Bowl less than 2 years before this game
bet nobody thought Andrew Luck who they were talking about as being the next years Number 1 pick would retire before Brees
I remember seeing my Saints coach eating on the side line I stopped and made me a big ass sandwich and relaxed with my feet up planning how I'ma troll my haters 😂 🙌
When you play your little brother in madden
😂😂😂
Now the saints bout to have the largest blowout in Monday night football history against the colts tonight
Painter the 🐐.
I can tell he never paid attention in film study smh
michael edwards what are you talking about. Painter is literally the greatest QB of all time. His throws, his accuracy, it’s all just truly remarkable. Definitely a first a first ballot hall of famer.
More like the 🐸
Few things,
This offense was arguably one of the greatest football fans have ever witnessed. A record shattering group.
The Saints could have scored over 80 if they really wanted to get this game
Till this day I can't believe we didn't make the superbowl..
Watching this post Luck retirement makes me really sad tbh. Colts tanked for a once in 20 years type QB talent only to ruin him in 7 years. Borderline criminal.
58 (Seahawks) -0 (ARZ) > 62 (Saints) - 7 (Colts). I give discredit for New Orleans blowing the Colts out of the water. P. Manning was injured in '11 or purposely tanked for Luck in '12.
Now that's what a hall of Famer looks like, number 9 all day!!
They played each other in Super Bowl forty-four💯👌
and the saints owned the colts in that game to! xD
1990Thunderbolt idk bout owned in the second half hell yes brother but I was chewing my nails in that first quarter
@@randompolishguy6476 saints >>>> colts. pretty much simple.
1990Thunderbolt bruh I’m a saints fan 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I’m agreeing with u
We gave them that game
Sean Peyton should coach from the booth more often. Tons of points and no penalties for yelling at officials.
Who's here after the cowboys and Washington SNF game
if dallas scores it's official
Saints are my favorite team
Michele Tafoya, Suzy Kolber, Pam Oliver, Hannah Storm and Tracy Wolfson = my Mount CRushmore of sports journalists.
I remember this game so well liked them then love them today!
