I doubt they had the lady lawyer suggesting that they retrieved Ian's laptop. I really really really really believe in real life, when Holmes was told of his overdose and subsequent death, the first thing she said was to retrieve the laptop to protect trade secrets and that "good, he now can't testify".

It's still possible to have compassion for people who do bad things. Amanda had the opportunity to dig deep on Elizabeth's life and, like all human beings, there was good there along with the bad. Knowing someone's origins can be helpful in garnering compassion. Not saying she isn't wrong for what she did, she is. It's just that human beings are complex and we as a society like to dwindle them down to one life event rather than digging deep and looking at the full scope. Life and people aren't so black and white. There's tons of gray area. I can see why she would feel that way about Elizabeth.

Like they say you can pretend in a lot of situations but she was playing with people's health. Ian's death was kinda ambiguous - he stares in the mirror with a defeated look on his face and the next day his wife finds him unconscious, I would have changed the scene slightly by having Elizabeth and Sunny appear suddenly behind him: - Hey, Ian.... - Ohhh!!! Elizabeth...Sunny....How did you get in here..I....I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..(starts crying). *Elizabeth pats him on the head* - I know...Let's have a drink and discuss this... *Screen fades to black*
