- In this video I am wrapping Christmas gifts for the special needs children on the bus that I work on. I am a special needs bus attendant. It brings me joy to see them so happy.

I know it isn't Christmas right now, (July 2021) but this is another sound that gives me those major happy tingles. 😊
I wonder if a lot of ASMR is possibly sounds we associate with happy things and occasions in our lives. Comforting sound memories, perhaps.
If so, this was always one of the major happy occasions to me growing up, and the crinkly sound memory is wonderful!

at 24:50 when the train went by, i felt SO nostalgic of staying the night at my grandmas house when i was younger. i live in the country and there’s no trains by my house, but i would always hear trains at my grandmas in the night! that and the wonderful sounds of the wrapping paper made me so happy :)

I love this video too! The first time I ever experienced ASMR was when I was a child in elementary school when the teacher or librarian would read a book with the plastic cover❤️ it put me in a trance and tingles down my spine, I had no idea what it was! I just knew I loved story time. I loved the plastic sounds and the gentle voice. However, now I prefer no talking videos, I typically do not experience tingles with your talking videos, but I just like to hear what you have to say so I watch them too😃😃

I don’t get to live near my grandkids Dylan. While I live far away from my family I am able to lavish the love on the children that I have on my school bus. I am a bus attendant for special needs children. Hopefully next year I will get to be with my biological grandchildren.

Another thing I’ve noticed since I watch this video every night. My mom has those same scissors AND the gold, red and silver ribbons! Reminds me of her wrapping presents. *AND* you and I wrap the exact same way! 🤣❤️
That’s cool that we wrap the same way Hannah. Familiarity is nice. It’s funny, your mama can teach you how to wrap presents but you still end up doing it your own way. I guess it’s instinct.

Truth is i love watching ASMR but what i hate about it is that it's always making me feel sleepy even though sometimes i only want to watch it just to feel relaxed.
Watching asmr is preventing me to be productive because i always ends up sleeping, But watching this made me feel at ease and i am so happy because i watched asmr without feeling sleepy😂💖
