Great explanation. Besides the IV route, do you think TXA can be added to the solution for nebulization in patientes with pulmonary hemorrhage/pneumonia?? Thanks!!
i do appreciate your time in making these videos , very well prepared , detailed and very informative . but i was wondering what is the rule of antifibrinolytics in hemophilia pt (as mentioned in the video) , i mean in hemophilia , the absence of one of the factors means a defect in forming the clot , these fibrinolytics are used to preserve the clot , so how we can use them in pt who cant form a clot !
Actually these are ANTI fibrinolytic (which prevents from bleeding) as you are hemophiliac fibrinolytics will further cause bleeding 😂 so fibrinolytics are not given to hemophiliac...as hemophiliac pts bleeds due to minor trauma like tooth extraction, giving anti fibrinolytics like tranexemic acid will prevent you from bleeding to death
Dr.i.. I have a question is it possible to give tranexamic acid to patient with hemoptysis due to STOMACH CA.,. STAGE 3. ? What is the best aid to control his continuous bleeding. Thank you Dr.
