  • From the many hard case credit card wallets on the market Jeremy Broun finds one that ticks all the boxes. He breaks with convention of having and storing numerous credit cards in one case (it could get stolen!), but uses the space creatively. www.woodomain.com

    The one you like is from a French brand called Ogon. And they work very well !

    Just got one of those. It's amazing! I always found myself annoyed about the wallet situation. With that one, I even tuck my house keys in one of the slots, and they're all stored nicely into my pocket without anything stubbing my leg.

    Good video. Jeremy, a few years ago I switched to a smaller wallet that held a small notepad inside and an elastic sleeve on the outside to hold a pen. This has become my favorite wallet. I find it invaluable to occasionally be able to leave a small note or to take notes myself. In addition, the pen on the outside makes it extremely difficult for the wallet to accidentally fall out of my pocket. If I were to use the wallets you reviewed I would add some rubber bands around the outside to make them harder to slide out of my pocket. I enjoy your nonwoodworking videos as much as your usual videos, thanks for making and sharing.

    My "wallet" is an elastic band holding together: a debit card, a credit card, drivers license, some folded notes (money). Coins I carry loose in my pocket

    seems to me that the cards can fall from the wallet if you by accident open it upside down..isn't?

      Yes its called gravity! Any sensible user would not turn it upside down unless you wanted to empty the wallet. I use this wallet every day and have never had cards fall out accidentally.

      I don't know! Can you not make that calculation yourself from the way it is held in the hand and in relation to credit cards? the one I prefer is slightly more compact.

    Hey Jeremy. I think you maybe missed the point of these hard case card wallets.. They are designed to be RF interference protectors. Meaning people use cell phones to scan normal wallets and purses and what not for the credit cards inside and pull your information. Welcome to the new day of modern tech :/. That being said you can get normal looking leather wallets now with RF protection lining.. Cheers !

    • @WoodomainJeremyBroun
      @WoodomainJeremyBroun  6 лет назад +2

      Randy - No I didn't miss the point, I think possibly you miss the point of my video!! I just forgot to mention one particular point which is about the RF protection lining, as this was an impromptu 'single take' video. But I wouldn't agree the main point of these cases is the anti-theft electronic protection because that would surely be stupid - what if somebody steals the case itself and is it really wise to store numerous credit cards in one case?!! I have just one credit card and that leaves me space to use the rest of the space creatively. The point of my video (as with my channel generally) is to encourage people to think outside the box and look at uses of things beyond their immediate stated function. The case I preferred was not designed to carry coins but I use it for carrying coins!! Or am I to be thrown in prison for using something differently and more creatively?!!

      Randy Murray I like the hard shell wallets just because my leather wallets never last; as for scan rf crimes are virtually non existent and a scam to scare consumers into buying their products. Also new rf cards are encrypted anyway.

    • @WoodomainJeremyBroun
      @WoodomainJeremyBroun  6 лет назад +2

      You are not supposed to notice that! It is the transparent age we live on or what is called chroma key where the lighting isn't quite right, but I forgot to mention that these card cases are anti electronic ID theft so in a way they are the opposite of transparent.

    • @ZrubekFamily

      That is pretty trippy!! It was just the top half inch of the one card, but where ever it was you could see right thru to the wall in the background. Look at 2:03

      @@zulvalor7266 Obviously yes as I have just said I am still using it, but then durability relies on the amount of usage. If you are a shopping addict and using a credit card 100times a day the wallet wont last long.It is perhaps opened once every 3 days on average
