Before leaving for Koh Lipe, continue to experience the Chinese culture of this small border town.
It is basically possible to speak Chinese in Hat Yai Old Town (most of the shops we visited can speak it). Strolling in the old town, looking at the familiar Chinese signs, listening to the Chinese with a Nanyang accent. It feels like being in Malaysia.
We first went to a roadside fly restaurant recommended by the locals. It is said that this store is a time-honored small store. The diners are basically local gourmets. It is cheap and delicious.
When passing by a Thai clothing store on the street, I really like the color of the fabric, so I bought a piece of fabric and planned to come back to make a small skirt to wear!
In addition, Hat Yai is one of the origins of Thai bird's nests, so the price of bird's nests here is relatively cheap. You can buy a bird's nest afternoon tea for the price of 2 cups of milk tea. In the hot summer, chilled bird's nest can also provide a refreshing emotional value
We also went to Liyuan Night Market, a must-visit for backpackers, to eat snacks.

哈哈，这个是我们中国人常用的砍价手法，凑个整数！
那个鲍鱼片是加工的，不是纯鲍鱼制作的。合艾的却蛮多当地华裔的，所以在那边不用担心无法沟通。你吃的蝶豆花糕点叫做九层糕是娘惹传统糕点，在泰南也有娘惹的后代。
鲍鱼片有点像干贝的味道，那个糕点非常好吃😊
