When you said you felt the same way you did when your dad died it really hit a nerve. People don’t realize the things they do. Men can be very selfish, it’s unsettling. You are so wonderful and open and did not deserve to be treated that way. You are willing to be vulnerable and that proves that you are healing. Even though we cannot see ourselves, others see us clearly. You don’t know me from Eve, but I am sending you positive energy and prayers. You’ve come a long way in such a short while and that speaks volumes to your strength. You are a power house woman, your spirit will attract what is worthy.
I honestly think ghosting someone is really cowardly. The fact that it happens so much to people out there shows that lots of people really don't have any communication skills. It sucks, but consider yourself lucky to know he wasn't worth your time at all 💜
Omg yes they’re revolting everywhere! It’s terrifying. I’ve been ghosted countless times and it’s always a punch in the heart and guts. Takes me years to recover. I feel like it’s one of the most cowardly selfish things you can do. It takes 2 minutes to say you’re not wanting to be with someone or whatever the situation, instead of leaving someone with the inability to understand. I don’t blame you for feeling the way you do 💗
The way you described that loss feeling like when your pops passed though.. my heart. I cannot imagine. I am so sorry that that happened to you. I am such a control freak in every aspect of my life and knowing that a man just wasted years of my life.. I would be PISSED! I was ghosted in late 2019 and it sucked. I felt gutted for a long time. It sounds cliché but anyone who does that did you a favor. They are children who cannot communicate and resolve conflicts, who have no consideration for other people.
The weird thing is that I think I ran into him at a grocery store. I'm not a hundred percent sure because of the mask mandate, but he has the same build, height, style, etc., He works there so I've seen him a few times. The first inkling that it was him is the fact that he was staring at me like he'd seen a ghost. He followed me around the store trying not to be obvious about it. I just ignored him. He tried it though. I can't say that it wasn't a good moment for me, like the Cardi B song, "If I see you and I don't speak, that means I don't fuck with you." 😂
He's lucky all I did was ignore him; I've fanticized about punching him in the face if I ever ran into him.

I wonder if most of the guys on Tinder are just looking for one night stands. Maybe they're shallow. I've never been on there, so I don't know.
