Nice Tiger 110. Peter For a 1955 machine shouldn't it have the cast iron head?🤔 looks like its off the later models. And I noticed some beautiful bikes there in ghe background. 😊
If made after the beginning of September, a Triumph machine would be to the following years specification. For 1956 model year this would include the alloy head so it’s easy to check by looking at the frame and engine numbers, details of numbers per year are easily found. I am lucky to own this model and it’s got the alloy head and was made late in 1955. Only difference is that I thought they were tight wire advance as standard. Nice bike, it goes well and handles better than the myth suggests.

Lovely looking bike. In my view this is the archetypal Triumph of my youth.
I was lucky enough to own a 1960 T110 should never have sold it
Nice to see the potholes have had an annual service.
Best bike of the lot T110. Mine is not matching numbers “who cares” and is brilliant.
Stunning looking bike and well worthh the sum being asked, but give me my old Norton 99 anytime.
