Love this vehicle. I would never own a mini van until now. I have done my homework for a week and it ended up being this model and color combo. I looked at VW Atlas, Highlander, Honda Pilot and Honda Mini. This is it. The Hybrid with 35mpg sealed the deal. Along with the amazing design. What a deal. I did the AWD because I live in Utah

Great video Mike! Just picked up my 2021 Toyota sienna XSE, with the inverter package, plus the plus package! My drive home from the dealership was 41 miles per gallon, varying my speed for Ultimate break in period, if you keep the van under 70 he will get this kind of mileage. Second tank yesterday achieved 42 miles per gallon with mixed driving in the city. Absolutely love my Toyota sienna XSE. Yes I will be doing a Camper van build that will follow shortly.
@@ViperFPV Just to play devil's advocate... you do realize that the 2013 and 2018 aren't the same? :D For one, the 2017-2018 had well documented transmission issues that were fixed mid '18.

Comparing to 2010 model, i like how this 2021 they still come with a spare and the way they hide it inside the car, for much easier access. Also looks like they improved the placement of audio speakers.
With the exception of being a Toyota, great gas mileage, excellent hybrid power train, exterior styling, Toyota safety sense and great LED headlights. Everything else is second class compared to my 2005 Toyota Sienna LE. I have 2005 LE, 2008 XLE (totaled) and the 2021 LE. If gas were inexpensive, I’d keep the 2005 forever.
Door switch looks like it was positioned to be just centered, seems like packaging between back up camera and switch was an engineering compromise. Also, power back door has "hidden" space, meaning at full open, you can push the door higher and set it to open further.Gains ~2 extra inches of clearance, maybe initially set to keep clearance for a garage door or something ...

Good question! I'll have to experiment with it next time I am at the Toyota dealership. My guess is that it will disable the sliding door when you open the fuel door. I noticed there is a switch that the fuel door actuates. You can see the switch on the left at 23:43

If Toyota is struggling to make enough RAV4 Primes to meet demand I can’t see a Sienna Prime anytime soon. Logically they will move on to the Highlander Prime next as Toyota sells almost 3x more Highlanders than the Sienna.
Can the middle row seats come out safely? I was told byx2 Toyota Dealerships & Toyota Toyota Canada they are hooked to airbags . And would cause airbags not to work if middle seats came out! Also he warrentee would be voided if middle seats were taken out . Thankyou kindly!

@@luperon they did not drop the ball. It is a hybrid. The batteries are held under the seats. The Pacifica hybrid seats are also non removable and it cannot "stow and go" as the batteries are also stored under the seats. The 2021 Sienna is a great vehicle.

I’ll keep my 2015 Sienna as I’m disappointed they made the new model hybrid only. Scotty Kilmer is right that hybrids will never last as long as simple non-hybrids as if you keep them 10-12 years you end up spending whatever money saved on gas ancc de more back to try to repair the hybrid system.
