They report on US politics far more than they report on EU politics, French politics and German politics combined. So if other countries are anything like Sweden in this regard, that's why many are deeply engaged in US politics.

Honestly, I’m a Democrat but even I had misgivings about supporting Harris. I’m on a fixed income, but I can’t tell you how many political advertisements from the Harris/Walz campaign. Every other day, I would receive another political advertisement for the Harris/Walz campaign. I even got telephone calls demanding I cough up as much as $100 USD; and I’m on Social Security Disability. Seriously, Kamala Harris acted as though we’re bad people if we didn’t support her for President.
