- This is an 8mm film from my Dad's collection. Scanned on the Retroscan Universal. This had to be shortly after Legend Cit'y opened up (attempting to become like Disneyland). I hope you enjoy. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the upload. I was born in 1998, so videos like this are the only shot I have at witnessing the true American Experience.
I envy you!
Yes. I have so many fond memories from my childhood. Times are sure different now. I never thought this would happen to our country. Thanks for watching!
Awesome! Thanks for posting this! Great memories!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
The Lost Dutchman ride was my favorite. Nearby, there was a surprisingly steep/slanted home exhibit that was a challenge to walk through.
Yes I remember the slanted room!
I remember that slanted room like it was yesterday. Loved it‼️👍 Ron1
That was my favorite ride!
Who can tell me what the dome was called? Had recliners and bean bag chairs, had a light show and played rock music! We would hang at Legend City then go next door to Compton Terrace for concerts!
My Dad had stock in Legend City. Went there many times.
Yes had some great times there.
Like Wallace and Ladmo, Legend city is no more but another gone memory.
Yes loved to go there as a kid. Thanks for watching!
My dad ran the Peter Pan hat stand at Legend City as extra part time job, he'd write the kids name who bought it on hat front with glue & glitter :)
With expense of parochial school tuition for me and my 2 sisters he always had some kind of fun extra job :)
He was also the photo-finisher at Turf Paradise & Prescott Downs... great Az memories!
Thank you for sharing your video, looks just like the kind my dad & mom used to take of us with their 8mm camera :)
Well thank you very much! I’m sure we saw you dad there. We loved the park and glad my brother transformed this to video for great memories like yours. Thanks👍 Ron1
Thanks for watching. We loved Legend City! And thanks for sharing memories of your Dad.l
My best friend always bought tacos at Legend City. They tasted like Taco Bell.
