The last scene with Frollo ordering Phoebus to BURN A HOUSE WITH INNOCENT PEOPLE STILL INSIDE and him being left to drown after being shot with an arrow must have been a biiiig “I don’t want to watch this anymore it’s too scary” kind of thing so the gargoyles are needed to lighten things up
Kathryn Hill I seriously thought he said on the rag for the longest time as a kid, and when I was a teen I found out what it meant and thought that he said that but then I realised he said on the rack.
I didn't realize that Victor's voice actor also work on voicing Rainbow face #1 in The Land Before Time VII: The Stone of Cold Fire 4 years later after this movie.

wait..... if the gargoyles are supposed to be a figment of his imagination. why are they not only engaged in picking up objects but also having conversations well out of rage of quazee? is quazee literally that entire time while away from them in mortal danger or engaged in conversation with someone else far off in the distance. does he just narrate what they're doing while he's gone in their head while in the events that are happening at that time?!
I love how Hugo portrayed Esmerelda as the queen card, and Lord Frolo as the joker card 😆
