When I first started watching your video the beginning wire wrap was tedious and I wondered if I wanted to watch the rest. I continued to watch and was pleased that the rest of the design was a cake walk. I so want to try this and make dangle earrings with something hanging from the bottom loop. Thanks again for the awesome tutorial!
I have absolutely no problem with this tutorial. Yes! This IS a tutorial even if the camera wasn't 100% on target. If this was too difficult for viewers to learn from, perhaps they need to start with something easier. Thank you for taking the time to share this technique, and also for the information on the wire brand. It looks beautiful. So does the bracelet!
Oh wow! The birds in the background- brings me right back to childhood- Mom and Dad had several parrots, and our house sounded like a jungle. Thanks for the video!
I have to say... I love you.... I am just starting and have made some things I think are so bad. It's so wonderful to hear you say you don't love everything you made!!! I love your tutorial and it has helped me so much! Thank you thank you thank you
Hi Ruby! I am a wire wrapper, who tried to do Herringbone before, with poor results. You taught me how, in your relaxed, fun, matter-of-fact, down to earth style. Your results were SPECTACULAR! Thank you so much! Can't wait to try again!
Me again. I was reading through some comments and i just dont understand someone saying they hated the parrot....... well i loved it, i kept saying hello back to it hehe maybe im just mad. I have four dogs and if folk dont like my dogs as far as im concerned they can just bugger off o never asked them to watch or listen. Get real folks. This is a real lady here showing you some real amazing things to make so eother watch and cover your ears or..........you know the rest lol........one thing more......hello.....for the parrot. Huggles xxxAnnxxx I
I don't think your bracelet is crappy at all. I think it's beautiful! I won't tell you that you shouldn't think it's bad. I feel the same way with my art. I think that is just an artist's mentality, always wanting to do better than what we can currently do. Your video is very informative. I like how you don't skip ahead and go through the entire process in real time. It's confusing sometimes when videos skip ahead. Thank you so much for sharing! I'm really looking forward to trying this method!
I think your wire work is very professional and your teaching is very thorough. Also I like that you are very real when you talk about those cheap looking rings I totally agree -LOL
just want to say the wire work you have done is amazing im just begining wirework myself ,im going to give that herringbone design a go .the tutorial you have done made it very easy to follow thankyou 😊
I really enjoyed this, this showed me a technique that looks wonderful and I absolutely adored the sound of a bird in the background... I have grandchildren that drive me insane...so this was so totally fun!!! Thank you for being as casual as you are and producing something really lovely!!!
Ruby I just love you! You work so hard to bead up theses lovely projects for us subscribers you are a hard worker, day job then making all these goodies for us. I pray everyday wishing I had the get up and go. I have fibromyalgia pain. It takes me days sometime to even think of a project. I love to bead but then I have a what to make for days. So all my babbling is you are a wonderful ,loving, caring, and giving person I thank you for being you! Yes you I love watching your videos until I started beading. Also I'm sure all would agree thank you for sharing your time with us goofy beader's who love to follow you.
I just made five herringbone white pearl and finished it off a necklace and omg it looks like I'm wearing a million bucks!!!💖😍🔥✨🎉 I don't have no wire tools so I did it all by hand which I got a little bit of irritation but it was worth it hopefully when I get my own tool set I can make it more beautiful and perfect but I'm so happy with what I've made so far with your help thank you sooooo much 💖💖💖
Thanks so much for taking the time to explain this wire wrap slowly. I have never managed to get this right but i will try again as yours looks so very pretty.
Thanks so much ....you are truly funny and I actually enjoyed watching this video and making my herringbone bracelet ...it turned out beautiful and my better half was very impressed with my work
This is the easiest way I have found to do the wire wrapping technique. The other videos I have watched, I was worried that I wouldn't get it the same on both ends. Thank You for sharing!!
Absolutely gorgeous! For someone who says they aren't very good with wire, I think you did a terrific job explaining and what a finished product. Love it!
I tried other videos for these wraps, but watching yours has been so helpful!!! I'm just learning jewelry making..... just like in quilting, sewing, crocheting or any craft..... its that little bit of oops that makes it your own!!! :-)
Did I hear you say that the bangle part of this bracelet is a mess? Girl, one mans trash is another's treasure. I know that this bracelet is gorgeous. Not just the wrapped bead, the bangle part is very pretty. Love it love it love it!!! Thank you for teaching, thank you for sharing. kimberly, queens, ny
I hear the birds and I think your dog also so maybe we can meet them next tutorial...? I like that you arent like so many of the wire wrapper tutorials who seem a little snobby. It is nice that you dont mind talking about possible mistakes. I laughed when you said you had your husband stop and buy some wire...looking foreward to the next tutorial.
Ruby, you are brilliant ! Came across your video by accident. I love your honesty and your no nonsense approach, hilarious .thanks for the tutorial. I to am a beader and not a wire worker but I love this piece and will try something different and give it a go . Take care from the uk x
I keep coming back to follow your instructions. I am jealous how you state that your husband goes to a beading store to buy you stuff. My husband would rather have "Open heart surgery without anesthesia" before he walk's into a beading store.
Ruby, I apologize that people are so rude. Those people that rudely responded to your tutorial need to go learn about constructive criticism and manners. You are kind enough to share your work, that is great thing. I and many others do appreciate your effort. I love handmade crafts and the uniqueness of each piece, and that bracelet is beautiful to me, I don't think that it is a mess at all. I will attempt this project when I get more materials. Thank you for selflessly sharing, There is always room for improvement in ALL of us.. kimberly, queens, ny
kwall224 Thanks for your kind words ..I really appreciate that and yes I have to agree with time we all make improvements in everything we do...I hope you have a wonderful weekend...Hugs...:)
Ruby -- yours was THE first tutorial I ever used, and I was able to make a dozen Herringbone pearl-type parts that very night! I tried following one of the "professional" pages, and they had me lost so fast, my head spun! @jj@ I'll stick with you ANY DAY! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us beginners :-D PEACE ...
oh my God, I finally found someone who takes her job seriously, loves her job, and people can hear it! I've been always watching some half-professional girls before, doing this jewelry tutorial, but they only trying to get fame and attention in RUclips. (oh help, how boring their videos are, even it lasts only 8Mins) oh yes I love your video, it lasts about 30 Mins, but I didn't skip any second. everything you say in this video is useful! and you're so talented!
Ruby, I have just stumbled across your tutorial yesterday and you make it look and sound so simple. I went to a masive bead store here in the UK today and bought purple pearls and a spool of non tarnish craft wire! Guess what I'll be doing this weekend! I was so hoping the parrot would swear during the tutorial because it made me laugh, he is obviously a polite patrot then! Thank you, I have now subscribed :-)
What a lovely personal tutorial. I have only just discovered jewellery making and have the bug! So I will be giving this a go. If you made your bangle oval instead of round it may stay in play, its lovely. :)
I just found your video and I have to tell you it looks awesome. Thanks for sharing. Plz don't let the Trolls bother you they have nothing better to do all day than cut every one down. I think you showed your skill's and if the could do better they would have posted a video. But I don't see them posting all they do is wine to make them self fill better it's a lot easer then trying. So keep up the nice work and showing the troll they cant win. So again thanks...................James
+Ezy_ Money Thank you James...its really good to hear that...I have learned to accept the trolls and just move on...and I agree they really have nothing to do all day but troll...I hope you have a wonderful day!! Thank you :)
Thank you for sharing, I am a beginner and it would like to try it out, with cheap wires first and then maybe with silver wire. You're awesome, please continue! Bless you :)
I love this tutorial! Your birds remind me of my childhood! Oh the nostalgia. My mom always had at least 2 parrots and a dog. This was an amazing tutorial because it came from a real person in real time. Loved it. Keep up the good work! Xoxo
i really enjoyed your tutorial... it made me laugh in a good way.. you sound like me when im working on something... i didnt measure i just did it... cant wait to see more from you!! Thank you for sharing ...
Nice guy your husband. Thank you, I love it!!! Like Cindy said more more more! I met you the first time years ago when you were the only person to show up on Teresa New Years Eve...remember...you were hiding...I was cracking up.
OMG hahahaha yes I remember...I was the only one talking to her...but I had no mic at the time and my hair was a mess ..couldn't present myself in public...lol...what memories..haha...:)))
I LOVED Your video, Thank you so much..I just find your personality the greatest I think pretty much we do things the same way and speak the same language :)
Beautiful Ruby. I'm new to wiring. I'm going to attempt this. You're so much fun to listen to. If I can accomplish this I'd like to try to add it to some kind of pendant. Thanks again Ruby! :)
Thank you fo rtaking us through the whole process! I am definitely a person who likes to see things repeated, and your directing us through each little turn of the wire was really, really helpful for me. Thank you so much! A friend of mine gave me a South Sea pearl for a special event in my life, and now, I know how I'll set it. Thank you so much!!!!
I really enjoyed your video and learned a lot! I can't believe anyone would have the gall to criticize it.I love the sounds of your bird in the background, please don't move him to another room as some Debbie Downer suggested.
This is my second comment - Ruby, you are The BOMB! I just love this piece - it's gorgeous! Thanks for sharing! BTW, I thought you were extraordinarily clear. I knocked this one out right away based on your clear instructions.
Thanks. I like this a lot and it uses a lot of wire. A lot of this is out of frame but since it is redundant the other parts in frame are self explanatory. Nice piece.
I'm with Ann you keep talking parrot! Hi my name is Mo just got hubby to get me on these sites. Love this ,hope I can do the same.your soooo clever thank you for sharing. Bye bird!!
This is a very elegant technique for sure. I would love to fashion it to make a ring and it would be easy to use this as a center piece for a bracelet or crown. :D NICE WORK
This is so cute. It needs to be a ring though. I cant figure out how to do a ring from watching this - but I am going to think on it. Thanks so much for sharing.
Rena66...Just so you know...for one...I am really not a professional...it was a learn as you go expierience...I did what I knew best...I have been able to correct alot of what I was doing wrong....but geeze can't you just be greatful for the Free tutorial...you are welcome to move along no questions asked...Have a nice day!!
Ruby Lockwood Here is the wire you like. I buy it all the time for $4.50 and FREE shipping. Thanks for your videos. www.ebay.com/itm/300868262533?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&var=600089087792&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Esther York Ester thanks so so much for the great priced wire...However to Canada they charge 8.49 for shipping lol...sometimes it doesn't pay to live in Canada ...Have a great day...:)
+Lacie Allen probably not. I use silver plated copper. It's very pretty, tarnish resistant and inexpensive. Sterling wire in a herringbone wrap can get quite expensive.
I admire how you’re so real and just “yourself” That is why I will subscribe....no BS !!!!
It's Free, guys. Stop complaining about camera work. This is an easy tutorial! I love it it!
When I first started watching your video the beginning wire wrap was tedious and I wondered if I wanted to watch the rest. Thanks so much ....you are truly funny and I actually enjoyed watching this video and making my herringbone bracelet ...it turned out beautiful and my better half was very impressed with my work
"perfect" is how you should describe all your work, just stunning, love watching your tutorials xx
Ty beccy...many blessings :))
Also, thanks for narrating your video. It's much easier to understand what you are doing than a video with no narration.
This is the easiest way I have found to do the wire wrapping technique. The other videos I have watched, I was worried that I wouldn't get it the same on both ends. Thank You for sharing!!
your very welcome...ty for your kind words...:))

I love your instructions and your non scripted presentation.
I really like listening to you talk. You remind me of my high school art teacher. I wanna do this but as a ring. ❤️ thank you for the tutorial!!!

Ruby, your bracelet is beautiful! I would wear that anywhere.

Enjoyed the video! Thanks for sharing!
......you do GREAT WORK as well !!!!!
Awesome tutorial! I'm going to try this.
Wow this looks so easy it's basically a figure 8 motion to give an illusion of a braid almost 🤯💖✨
Great Tutorial, Thank you sooo much for doing this and putting it online! =)
:D NICE WORK
Thank you for the tutorial . I love it .
This is so cute. It needs to be a ring though. I cant figure out how to do a ring from watching this - but I am going to think on it. Thanks so much for sharing.

Oh wow...thought I was helping you out. I didn't realize you were in Canada. Thanks for the videos.
+Ruby Lockwood is it real silver
+Lacie Allen probably not. I use silver plated copper. It's very pretty, tarnish resistant and inexpensive. Sterling wire in a herringbone wrap can get quite expensive.
So beautiful, I tried, practice makes perfect.
This is beautiful, can't wait to try it. Also love your sense of humor :)
LOL ty Debbie...so glad I make you smile :))
