VLC [ Motion Detector TEST ] ((--.'.--))
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 6 окт 2012
- I didn`t find any other video showing how to use this Motion detector feature..
You will need a Capture Card to connect your camera to computer along with RCA cables.
Also, when you click "Open Capture Device (min.7:30) "Open Media" window will pop up! (min.7:42) there you will have to find the name of your device (capture card ) mine is shown as: USB 2861 Device. Yours may have a different name depending on what you use!
I am using Easycap USB Video Capture" there are different easycap usbs out there! look for the one that will work for your system. --.'.--c99
pd: VLC does NOT have a beeping alert feature while tracking motion is in use. In this video the BEEPING sound was added after editing.
FEE VLC Program available at "www.videolan.org"

Thank you! Time to find new ways to alert us of what is up in our skies
Very interesting test.
Thanks for the valuable info -- I gotta see if my roof cam w/adapters for computer will work using this... I was going to buy a Clover DVR w/motion detection feature. Some even send images to the internet!
Very, VERY cool! Nice, thanks for sharing. (Brasil)
lol you too my friend! good to see you around Peace
I get it! I use them to practice on my aim ;)
Is there a way to submit files to this CLI? I want some kind of output log of "how much detection" with timestamps for each video file I need to process. This is for security files. Any ideas?
...I can see the benefit of waiting till all the birds fly south for the winter though!
Try to keep your camera away from any Light reflecting source, that way you will only capture motion from objects that are moving so you can have a clear image on your screen and not too much motion like I did in that night vision shot @min.5:22 in other words the less light the better. I think if you leave your cam. still pointing at those trees by your area, it`s gonna work just fine. Good luck!
😮😮
and the bip? how put it
? thanks
sorry for the late reply: that beeping sound was added to the video after editing. It does not come with VLC ( i added it to create some ideas) I will write it down on the description, thanks!
is it possible to calculate speed with this?
+dennis osseweijer (OXCRAFT) hello Dennis., VLC does not have that kind of feature ( will be nice ) i like the idea, but i'm sure that there are other programs that can read speed and distance. just got to figure out how they can work together.
+cotus99 yea, I figured OpenCv can track motion and with some coding you can calculate the speed with realtime footage, but it is very hard... Haha
+dennis osseweijer (OXCRAFT) OpenCv ? i`ll check it and play around with it if it`s free ;) may be helpful.
