In this travel vlog, I document the experience of having two days to prepare half an hour's recital programme for solo violin, a challenge I undertake with great enthusiasm. I bring back repertoire, some of which I last played almost six years ago! At the same time, I enjoy the beautiful swimming pool my hotel has to offer and the beautiful landscapes of Switzerland...

The amount of work she must have put into violin, to the point where bringing back extremely difficult pieces she hasn't played in years is easy... respect. And she's still, like, 17!!! She's already extraordinary and will one day be among the best in the world. What a legend 👏👏👏

Well! You certainly took that in your stride. Only two days to prepare included time to play with cats, travel, swim and generally chill. And oh! Somewhere in there you check that you still know your pieces so you can perform them at the highest level all why enjoying the beautiful scenery. You amaze me.

Once Leia arrived at the hotel in Switzerland I'd completely forgotten this video was about anything violin-related ahah. I was just mesmerised by the beautiful pool, grey weather (which I actually like, especially when the indoor environment is either cozy or grand!), the luxurious food. Everything except the music got my attention in this vid ahah. I wonder how much it costs to stay in that hotel per day + overnight (with all the bonuses of course).
