- Italy’s symphonic metal band ASTRALIUM has just unleashed 'The Journey', first single off the new album 'Land Of Eternal Dreams', due out on August 23rd via Rockshots Records (worldwide release) along with the full length being available in Japan via Spiritual Beast on the same date.

A pure symphonic album with power heavy prog metal influences, epic choirs, high pitch vocals plus lyrical sections and baroque/magniloquent arrangements, “Land Of Eternal Dreams” is a concept release about dreams and the astral universe, but also the fantasy world that lives in us. It's an inner journey through imaginary stories about myths and legends from the past.
The album also features specials guests Tommy Johansson (Sabaton, Majestica), Jo Lombardo (Ancestral, ex-Metatrone), Andrea Martongelli (Arthemis), Stefano "Ghigas" Calvagno (Metatrone, NefeshCore), Adam Cook (A Hill To Die Upon), Davide Bruno (Metatrone, NefeshCore) and more.

I dont understand how this is not HUGE. What a band!!!
Because this time of music isn’t exactly main stream or popular, only a special few folks like us enjoy it. That’s how it be sometimes when you like the aren’t the in the “norm”,but it’s fun sometimes cuz you randomly find gems and if you’re lucky you get to share it with friends who share your interest. However I believe you meant why isn’t more popular amongst fans of this of music , well I guess that’s just how it goes sometimes
can you debut with a masterpiece? the astralium have done it, Roberta (wonderful voice), and partners, have created a work of art of this kind ... and now all that remains is to reap the benefits. MASTERPIECE

I listened to the album with great curiosity and interest. Among the various tracks, "Rising Waves..." Immediately stand out, beautiful, charged, quick and catchy. The changes in tempo and tone are interesting. As a slow piece I point out "Breath of my soul". The voice / piano duet excites and recalls the Evanescence of "My Immortal". The piano is a very difficult gentleman instrument to insert in certain branches of metal. Very nice atmosphere of "Etherial Voices..." A track worthy of a soundtrack of epic films, fantasy or video games. The oriental-influenced intro of the sitar guitar in "The world unknow" is suggestive. A great note of merit goes to the singing part, a voice: clean, solemn and impeccable, which enriches and surprises while listening with particular changes of register. The duets within some songs are captivating.
The band did a great job. Result of passion, professionalism, commitment, study and humility. This latter virtue is rare in today's musicians. The album features songs rich in musicality, fresh and very varied. Appreciated by "experts" in the work, but also to those who approach the metal-symphonic for the first time. I recommend listening to "Land of eternal dreams", for those who want to break the monotony and the musical flattening broadcast by TV and radio in recent years. 🤟

Vediamo un po':
- In questo periodo sono in fissa con i gruppi symphonic o power con voci femminili.
- La cantante in un sito ho letto che viene presentata come soprano, ma qui dimostra di esprimersi anche su registri tradizionali, il che, visto anche gli ospiti presenti, fa pensare che l'album sarà abbastanza variegato.
- Avendo apprezzato quelli che sono ancora gli ultimi album di metatrone e hypersonic, credo che l'ingresso di Salvo Grasso in formazione sia un buon investimento.
- Vista la buona qualità audio, si spera che la produzione sia ben curata.
- IL biglietto da visita c'è. Staremo a vedere o meglio sentire. Per il resto, la rockshots non sembra fermarsi un momento. Meglio così.
