Imagine Captain America with Gladiator's powers, because no matter the circumstances he never wavers in confidence and belief in himself he'd probably be unstoppable.
The problem with these characters are the inconsistencies with the writing as it relates to their power scaling. These characters powers always fluctuate depending on the writer or story/allowance of the plot. Because the same Superman who can punch a hole in reality itself and fly to the end of time gets beat by a human batman or some other D level villain.
No doubt friend!! And More so than the writers…HOW ABOUT THE EDITORS?! Or More specifically ‘the lack there of’ when it comes to editorial OVERSIGHT! That’s a major problem with our (mainstream ) comics in general imo. Let’s hold the editors more accountable I say! -DocSolo-
@@gengeekfammost writers aren't comic book fans or experts. They're simply people working for a check. And the ones that ARE fans, have their own biases or beliefs on how powerful characters should be. I would also be in the camp that all these heroes powers need to be brought back down to 1980's levels. If they're all powerful enough to punch planets to pebbles, then how do you explain TWO of them going all out ON a planet WITHOUT that happening? It used to be that galactus showing up was an "all hands on deck, full blown worldwide crisis" needing EVERYONE and a prayer. Nowadays, thor rips him a new one. Its absurd. Power scaling is out of control in comics these last 20 years. Enoughs enough already.
Blue marvel tbh can use his intellect alone in this fight. He's on part with richards and stark. Who both regularly go into fights on this level without that level of power and win consistently.
You don't know this.... Sigh.... Blue marvel needs MORE showings before people can make this claim. Gladiator has tons that show how OP he is. Marvel has a smattering at best. Don't get me wrong. I think Blue Marvel IS the better hero, but gladiator has shattered a world with his fists, flown galaxy to galaxy in seconds. Done insane things. Favoritism aside, marvel needs time and his own series to strut hs stuff. He is the more UNDER used powerhouse out there. That said, he is MY favorite of the marvel "superman" types. He, unlike gladiator and hyperion, or the god awful sentry..... Is a TRUE hero. Marvel needs to give the man a series already.
Gladiator is weak to Gama radiation not weak vs antimatter. And blue marvel lost to Hyperion was out over 10 seconds hyperion turned his back and blue marvel jumped him from behind . Gladiator was verily hurt fighting hyperion . Hyperion pulled Gladiators hair and poked him with his own hair . That was it . Gladiator broke Hyperions neck I have the comic

I just found out about blue marvel not even 4 months ago and he is now my 3rd favorite character behind surfer and thor.Have always like gladiator since 90"s.Blue marvel takes it I think
BM generates antimatter internally, but doesn't project it. A byproduct of that is him being able to project high level electricity and radiation frequencies.
Its all about whos writing. Gladiator is a beast! Blue is a beast also. They both have almoat unlimited strength,speed ane stamina. Its very hard to say. I like both characters. Its very hard to say ? Comics alone Gladiator would win. Its very hard to say

Gladiator is more experienced by centuries and faster for sure. Strength is debatable but similar and energy projection goes to BM. 6/10 Blue Marvel.
