Hopefully my issue is this simple. I have a 2011 Cascadia and I just had the sam cab module replaced. Now my headlights, horn, and shut off switch isn"t working. Do have any idea what may be the problem
Thanks for your videos, i have a 2016 Freightliner cascadia sometimes hail assist abs and check engine light comes on and it goes from automatic to manual while driving do you know what is the problem is it harness wiring or something else?
Question. World the sam cab modular be the reason my starter won't turn off? Also. I know i have to get it reprogram but can I drive it to a Freightliner dealership after i install it?

Hi. I have an issue with Cascadia Cummins engine. Ultrashift transmission. Code j1939 (500k) CAN bus performance . Code related to central gateway . Could be an issue with a TGW module itself? No crank from the key. You can start it by shorting the starter. I’m assuming that there is nocommunication between modules. Help me out please. I subscribed on this channel
We had an issue with a central gateway module before on a Freightliner Cascadia with a Cummins. Gateway module wiring/harness was the issue. Fixed that and the truck ran perfect after. Are you getting any check engine lights? Any codes?
Yep it’s interesting how everything starts in the turn signals and all that they just go crazy, so I guess you save the day because that sam chasis it’s worth a pretty penny, 👌👋✌️
My tail lights on my 13 Cascadia start flashing randomly when the truck is off and the lights are off. If I turn the lights on it stops. If I turn the switch on it stops. Thoughts? Tractor tail lights only even does it with no trailer.
Im having the same issue and yea when i turn on thw headlight swith they stop but after i turn them off few seconds later rear lights stat blining again and can hear relay clicking on and off @shreqboi1
I replaced my PNDB, and after replacing it all my lights started to go crazy. Mechanic has advice me to replace the SAM CHASSIS now. Any insight on that? Thanks
I honestly don’t remember what codes came up just know this is the second or third Sam chassis I replace that has the same flashing clearance light symptom. Of course other than the Sam chassis literally smelling like burn electrical.
My city horn will not stop..and my washer pump will not stop pumping..And my left side fog light stays on,all switches are off..CAN THIS SAM CHASSIS???😅

one of the rear tail light wont turn off even Switch is off. Another one is always off even switch is on.

We had that problem and we just added a ground wire it the sam

My sam chasis smelled burned and I replaced it but mine is still doing that exact issue. They are about to reprogram the new one but we'll see
Usually how it starts, you get a smell of burned electronics. Did it fix your problem?

Check your fuses, they come missing fuses from factory

I would definitely look into the abs sensor harnesses, you might be having a sensor going out
My driver side marker light and driver side turn signal and park lights don't work. Would this cause that problem?
Have you checked the harness
Try a wiggle test

That can possibly be associated with the ignition switch or quite possibly the same cab. If you aren’t too far from dealer I would drive it

Glad I can help! These trucks are wired to a way that they do certain things to warn us of faults. It’s crazy and ingenious tbh
I’m having that same problem about to use your technique I went through a lot of rain recently and my fuse cover is go to Sam chassis 🤦🏽♂️

When you turn on the light switch do the work normal?

Check all your grounds and positives leading to Sam chassis. Sometimes even wires leading to pndb might be loose

That sounds like your cab chassis or SSAM I believe it’s called as well. What year is your truck?

@@davidfs.6233 that definitely sounds like the cab chassis, that’s on the passenger side under the cowl by the firewall
In 2016 cascadia chassis sam is under hood on driver side on firewall next to the foot valve
