On August 17th, the traditional Lakhe Dance from Palpa will be performed at Citizen Furniture, New Road, Pokhara, from 8 PM to 10 PM. This event, organized by Citizen Furniture, with support from Palpali Society Pokhara and Palpa House, aims to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Newar community.
    Sabin Udas, a renowned cultural expert, emphasizes the importance of maintaining the original religious and cultural essence of the Lakhe Dance while adapting to modern times. This dance, with over 500 years of history, was brought to Palpa by King Manimukunda Sen and has since become an integral part of the Newar community’s traditions.
